We are all pointing fingers. The issuesstill stand.. here on st clair we ran the gamut from 1990-1995. slot sizes to gillnetting. mother nature can be fickle. zebra mussels also played a major factor here along with enviromental issues. the sooner cooler heads prevail the better for the fishery. nippissing deserves better. chastizing groups will not solve issues.

saltys mounted on a bent stainless l plate. mount that to your downrigger swivel base. infinate settings. priceless. for the double clamps tighten them then drill a small hole thru each clamp handle twist a wire thru. the clamps will never back out.

a distant cousin pepe le pew. coax him on board. he,s an extra rod for fishin and no one will screw with your gear

years back,we used shiners lip hooked on a float. when the floats moving off count athousand 1 to 10. set the hook. large pike need to turn the bait before they swallow. ,like i said that was years back for large deep pike.

its a fish. they do die. trying your best is all you can do.knowledge is key. as for me i am recovering from cracked ribs and torn tendon from a reevive and release.. every case has its differences. as long as guys do their best the fisheries will do well.

SAD. i have family on that wall. remember the ph.calls and telegrams..sadly leadership aka goverments make monies and dont care .dont get me wrong i have family and close friends that have served, fought and died. the wall is a great memorial but how many war dead have to be honored for the wills of corporations to fatten bank accounts

we will be there. as always great fishing, cheep accomadations good food. hey did i mention the GREAT musky fishing.

we did ok on st clair saturday morn. 5 for 6 muskies. all fish were hi in the water column on woodies... minnee shads and the new georgie jointed.natural bass patterns at 4.1 mph.
-
we run shallow cranks and handlebarz flashtails.. you can control depths trolling by adding in line weights. the woodies, and handlebarz i use a weight ahead of a 5ft leader trolling. the top colors are 9 dollar bass, special perch and a pearl wh/flashaboo.
-
we willbe dredging st clair. we dont deal with the 10,000 casts lol.
-
use a blok of white nylon.. whats the size mike i may have some.

hi. its near time.
we troll smaller lures 5-6 inch range. handlebarz bucks. look for warmer water, baitfish. i prefer emerging growth edges. normally big girls are post spawn, they seem to hang on deeper edges recuperating . i prefer to troll boatrods just above bottom with hammering jointed baits. on planer boards smaller 5 inch shad style baits like a minnee woodie shad 4ft under the surface.
. bait colors are usually dictated by water color, and forage base. hope this helps.
