Oh man you missed a GREAT summer in Southern Ontario!!!! Hot, humid, hotter, humid, traffic, thunder, no rain, humid, dead lawn, traffic = morons, hotter than before, smog.

    shoulda been here!!

Yeah but did your boat sink?  ?

  2. Been a rough week.
Bilge pump float switch stuck and killed the battery, storm then sunk the boat.
Water in the fuel meant a tow back to the dock at the end of it all.
Then the truck battery was dead.  ?

A few pics from the week.

    Front done.

-Krattor thanks for the heads up, another source. Thanks.

-Lape0019, it is the piece that keeps it stowed when in motion. I haven't thought of the Ram mount idea that's something I'll look into. I tried a mount from a buddy's ATV and it still hasn't me worried, but I will look into the Ram mounts. Thanks.

Yeah, one of these would hold it in place.

  5. Hope it's nowhere near as bad as it was here in 2014.

The only road South was closed for long stretches due to smoke and fires near the road.

At one point a dozer crew had to run for their lives when the fire front came blasting through at 40+ MPH.

It was so hot it melted the asphalt where it crossed the road.

When it finally rained this is what fell from the sky.

some of the footage of the water bombers sweeping in on the henvey inlet is crazy, the pilots of those planes are friggin next level.

A crew of our bombers from the NWT are working down in Ontario now.

Been a very wet year up here and very few fires so far.

$25 for walleye dinner $70 with tip(I tip well) for my son and I with a ginger ale and a water to drink. Not complaining, I'm a truck driver and understand the logistics of getting food, power, staff etc to an island and the extra costs involved. If I couldn't afford it i wouldn't have eaten there ?  spent a summer on James Bay in the 80's, that was an expensive place $25 for a case of coke at the Hudsons Bay....

    Yeah, that's actually pretty reasonable.

We have a good fish joint here in Yellowknife and it costs me about $35 for lunch and $55 for dinner.

So about 30% more than there. But the fish is awesome as are the home made buns.  ^_^

  8. I don't know what to think about the ridiculously low bail amount  the fellow is out on.

    Just $1,000.

I would think it would be a bit higher considering all the lives ruined.

I sure hope this doesn't turn out like that case of the child molester at the West Edmonton Mall wave pool. ?
