Nope, no filler.
It's pretty decent quality cork.
Not the best I've had but it still isn't too bad.
nice looking grips. That's nice looking cork, is it filled at all?

One is Roy, the other I'm probably going to sell.

+7 and raining here in Yellowknife.
Was +15 and sunny yesterday.

Will they run together, side by side, with no interference, or will I have to switch from one to the other. Now I'm thinking I might not want the DSI.......might have to rethink this, and exchange it for a comparable bird unit that will do both...........
S.
They will run fine side by side.
My 2D sonar is 50/200 khz and the DI is 800 khz so no problems there.
-
Well, I guess I'll leave my old graph installed and compare the two side by side. Might speed up the learning curve.

That's what I have done.
Got my old Lowrance LMS 350 alongside of my Mark 5X DSI.
Eventually it will all be replaced with an HDS Gen II when the $$$$$ are available.

You drive your $70,000 bass bote through boulder fields and raging white water to get to the basses!!!!
-
It's worthless.
Send it to me.
Take it to a coin/note collector for appraisal.
Seems they can be worth varying amounts.

That pass that Grabo made to himself was pretty sick!!!

Works good fer the coffee bean grinder and espresso machine.

Been looking at this unit, can't believe the price difference up here.. It's not even close, lol
Even in Alaska they're only $1050.
I plan on getting one also.
Need a better genny for my camper and hopefully for building my cabin.
The cheap offshore one that sounds like someone shaking a 45 gallon drum 1/2 full of ball bearings is getting annoying.

They are building a BassPro and Cabelas in Anchorage AK over the next 2 years so I'll be able to hit them on me fall vacay.
-
They are building a new Cabelas in Winnipeg. The original building was originally SIR before Cabelas bought it as their first store in Canada.
My local Cabelas store is sadly in Edmonton about 1500 kms South of me.

A buddy of mine that has a commercial fishing license for Great Slave Lake brough me a couple of nice chunks of lake trout fer eats. The 2 chunks he gave me made up the latter 2/3 of one fillet.
The first chunk went on the BBQ last week.

Mike Im sure you will love the e-tec. I have heard and read, great reviews.
Bill,IMO,I like the foot pedal over the remote. Just a personal thing.
Enjoy yer new toys boys.

Good to hear Mike.
I'm surprised the 60# difference in weight made that much of a difference in handling.
-
Good to hear Lew.
I would check the connections at the other 2 lights just for peace of mind.
-
Nice Bill!!!
I just added the co-pilot to my TM.
I'm planning on replacing my old Lowrance LMS-350 with one of these when I sell my old motor.

Probably the biggest advantage offered by the Gen 2 HDS units is the ability to make your own depth maps.
The only mapping available for my lakes are on C-map and only for Great Slave. And they aren't very detailed.
This will give me the ability to map any of the lakes I can get my boat on and have them as detailed as one foot increments and 3D.

First clean with deck cleaner: http://www.deckstainhelp.com/best-deck-cleaners/
And then either stain or seal with Thompsons water seal.
-
Pull the first light in the sequence and check the connections inside the box.
Sounds like an open circuit to me.

25 horseitis!!!
I figured a 90 four stroke wouldn't perform quite as well as the old 2 stroke so I maxed out the HP on my boat.
Some New Work

Don't really know the material costs as I've had most of the materials a while.
The reel seat hardware is about $17, the wood I've had in stock for a while. I got a good deal on some stuff off ebay and bought a bunch. Cork cost is probably in the $30-$40 range.
The only other materials to factor in are Rod Bond for gluing up the rings and seat and the thick CA for the finish on the wood.
FYI
I have about $200 in materials in this handle.![:o](https://ontariofishingcommunity.com/uploads/emoticons/default_ohmy.png)
