Is the ice road ready to get to your haven ?
I've heard conflicting stories whether they are putting it in or not this year.
Luckily I don't have a ton of stuff to haul out so it won't be terrible if it doesn't go in.

Anyone know when that global warming is supposed to kick in?

It just came out this week that he’s struggling with a lower body injury and I assume it’s a groin. Because if it’s your knee you wouldn’t continue playing a full schedule on it.
unfortunately the only thing that heals a groin is time off, stretching and therapy. Which Morgan cant afford at the moment
Hopefully the all star break will give him some healing time.

Dan, you should put a 1/4" UHMW disk between the two turntables.
I used UHMW disks on my komatik's hitch to keep things tight but smooth.

The four motors on the corners look like they are mounted on an angle and would be propelling the boat on an angle. i guess if all the motors are synchronized perfectly it may be a non-issue, but if not I think it would be a job to keep it straight.
Sure looks cool though!
They are electrically steered.
There is a joystick for docking purposes.
It will steer the engines in different directions in order to slip sideways into its spot.
Very cool system that most of the big OB manufacturers offer.
While underway they are steered the usual way with the steering wheel.

that goal was pretty insane. totally tooled reilly. I guess lots of credit can go to the Power Edge Pro™ training he does. saw him run some drills and I can see how it can help with puck control. which he has off the charts skill at
MEH, he's OK. 😂😂😂

dude, you had a $6k repair on a Pilot Ontario trip? lol
And it wasn't a Honda issue.
It was a failure of an aftermarket manufactured bearing.
Learned my lesson on that one.

Missed call or not, it was not any worse than the fictitious "holding the stick call" on Hayton in the 2nd period. Russians got a 2 min PP there they didn't deserve. It all works out in the end.
And they scored on that PP too.

For sure, although I still don't know how they didn't call that puck over glass that hit the TSN camera, it was out of play.
Gotta love Canada Russia gold medal games, hard to beat for entertainment.
Cheers
IIHF Rule 135 point v.
"A player who lifts the puck from the defending zone and hits the score clock or any structural object above the ice surface, causing a stoppage in play, will not be assessed a penalty."

True if it's a tiny boat. A larger boat is pretty much unaffected unless the solo driver weighs 400+ lbs. What happens when you bring a buddy out fishing? Move the batteries around some more?
My problem is my doggo likes to chill under the console.
He adds another 65#'s the to drivers side.
I put my tackle bag on the other side to balance out the mutt.
If the OP were to put the 120#+ of batteries on the console side it would list badly.
It would not be as bad if it were on the other side even with a passenger.
Alternatively the batteries could be split between the two locations.

What year was it?
Most likely a first gen. I believe they were the ones with frame issues.

I’d absolutely use those openings. It’s basically unused space and in a location that likely won’t unbalance you boat much. I’d just stuff the batteries under there in the spring without doing any wiring and take it for a good rip. If it seems ok wire away.
I'd put them on the left side to help balance the weight of the driver when running/trolling solo.
If you put them on the same side the boat will list badly with only one person on board.

This Pilot sounds like a good choice. They're a sound vehicle. The only reocuring issue I've seen with them is that the transmission oil cooler coil inside the rad fails. When that happens, coolant and transmission fluid mixes together. Doesn't hurt the cooling system; other then trying to get it cleaned out. It's the trany that takes the hit. The chemicals and the acids in the coolant, can and usually does eat way at the clutch plate's friction material and blows them apart. 2 to 3 grand for a trans and you'll also need to replace the rad; another 500 dollar touch. Sad part is there's no warning if it were to happen; you'll just see this strawbeery mikeshake looking stuff coming out of the coolant recovery tank. If I were buying this I'd check if the rad has been replaced. I've done a half dozen or so and it's a 50/50 chance that the trans makes it through this. What I have done for my customers, is disconnect the trans cooler lines from the rad and then install an exteernal cooler. By-passing the rad altogether.
Dan.
Best thing to do is bypass the tranny cooler in the rad and hook up an aftermarket one.
Then this will never be an issue.
Not sure which years had the strawberry milkshake issue but a little snooping on the web will let you know.
The only other issue I have head of deals with the cylinder management system and carboning up of the piston rings leading to increased oil consumption. This is easily bypassed with a VC Muzzler which disables the system so it doesn't shut down cylinders.

Here's some images of a boat like mine. It shows where the factory placement of the batteries is.
And this image shows where I moved my TM batts to and the location of the fuel tank.
I have the back batt compartment plumbed for an auxiliary fuel tank now that gets used on long distance trips to the East Arm of Great Slave Lake.
The factory tank is 18 gallons and runs sid to side and the aux tank adds another 12 gallons. I can switch between the two with a valve at the back of the boat.
I still have the rear livewell to use if needed.
