I got kicked out of there on a regular basis in the late 70s and early 80s. Back then, there was a spot where you could sneak through the security fence on the east side, near where the HMCS Haida used to be docked. There was awesome topwater action in the lagoons there for mid-summer largemouth. Security guys would always kick you out when the day shift came on at 8:00, but they were generally pretty calm about it. You could still catch a few fish from the outside of the security fence, but it wasn't nearly as good.

We used to catch carp from the Haida, back in the early 70's, and some were monsters.

Lots of nice places to choose from. Derhurst, Windermere, Domain of Killean, etc.... A number in the Haliburton Highlands that my neice has worked for.

Petsmart has Xsmall jackets for toys up to 10 lbs. Small dogs may swim, but won't last for long if they fall out of the boat. No different than having a small child in a boat.

Sown here in Niagara we are 3 weeks ahead. Last year we were 3 weeks behind. It averages out in the end.

A few years back, we had a fellow in Beamsville who left dishes of antifreeze out at night, and a number of cats and dogs were cruelly killed. I sincerely hope that is not the case this time.

I haven't been to a LeBaron's since the old Willowdale store. Got treated like dirt the last time there. I walked in after work, and after asking for some help selecting a new reel, I was led to the discount reels and told I might have better luck at Zellers. I will never step foot into any business posessing such an arrogant attitude.

BPS gets 2 visits a year. Once, before Christmas to give the Mrs some gift ideas. Once if I'm running home early from a fishing trip and the traffic is too heavy. I hate sitting 3 hours just to get through Toronto.
