  1. A pair of steel toe rubber boots suffered a small crack near the steel toe. Sad to see, was the best pair of boots I've owned. I would have never guessed that they would crack before me being an idiot and stepping near a nail putting it through the side on accident. I also bought a new pair of Terra work boots that I would like to seal and make them more resistant to water. I hate working all day outside with wet feet and try to avoid wearing rubber boots when possible. Another option I thought about buying is a neoprene boot liner, but a no leak solution sounds better.
  2. Thank you all for taking the time to answer my question and posting links. Appreciate it! So many places to choose from now
  3. Would anyone here happen to know where I could purchase a tube of this product in cambridge, kitchener area? I checked Cabelas and it's on back order. I'm trying to water seal a pair of work boots.
  4. Magic jack user here! You can't go wrong with this, a ton of savings. No more $40 monthly basic landline bill for me!
  5. The day I see asian carp is the day I hang up my rod and buy a bow.
  6. Nice fish! I see you caught one on a pink worm. Haven't had any luck with those yet.
  7. That would seriously suck if asian carp hit the great lakes... I couldn't even imagine how bad fishing would get over the years... Wow I hope they act soon.
  8. It was released. That's all that matters!

Nice! Some massive fish there! Question how did you remove the row of bones above the rib cage? Pull them out one by one?
  10. Congrat's on quiting. I too quit smoking. The first 2-3 weeks is a major change in your body. I remember getting massive stomach pains and lots of gas . lol Today I don't even think about smoking.
  11. I plan on exploring the rouge and humber. Just trying to find a place with some g4 guide waders. Wilson's doesnt have my size and BPS doesnt carry them

  14. I was reading the box and borax is a deoderizer... Why would it be used in a cure? Or is angies cure a scam? lol... The eggs I bought at the bait shop didn't seem to be cured at all. Seems like they were dipped in water until their shell was thickened and then dried a bit and frozen.
  15. its borax and knox gelatin i tried out angies cure.
  16. My chest is 40" Croch 32" Shoe size 10. How much larger should I go? 41/42? or 43/44? size 11 simm boots?
  17. Can someone possibly post a pic of a fillet from the "blue zone?"
  18. I checked out the video jug way and it was so easy. I follow their steps and completed them easily. Until I had to take out those darn bones with pliers or tweezers. they would not come out so easily and if they did they would tear the meat ruining the appearance. The meat was not as colorful as the video jug example. Wednesday I caught a large male and filleted it. Today I caught a nice small male about 8-10 lbs. Still a silverish colour. Filleted it and the colour in meat was equal to the larger 15 lb male. Hmmm...
  19. could have been a deer who knows but i wasn't gonna stick around and find out... If i had my cam on me the flash on it would have cleared things up. Scary when you're there all by yourself. You never know what's lurking in the bush. Last year we had a black bear around kitchener and cambridge area. Guess it travelled down from the north. It was sighted by a few people. I think it took them a few days to track it down. See ya never know what's out there. You may think there are no bears down south but you can't say that for sure because there could be just for that day you're out. And who know's it might cross your path. I learned my lesson no more late night solo outings. Hope you guy's don't either. At least be with someone and be prep'ed.
  20. Within 1 week I have had 2 encounters with animals. Last week it was 2 raccoons and last night at Bronte around 9:00PM I heard something moving the leaves around. I didn't see anything so I continued to fish. A few minutes later I look up and I see this huge gold animal. It must've been around 150 lbs. A minute later I look up again and it has moved more to the left looking straight at me. I'm there by myself the girlfriend is in the truck waiting. My knife is in the truck. I'm thinking that is some cold water the easiest way to kill it is drown it if it comes at me. So I decided to leave quickly. Got snagged on the way out snapped the line and booked it lol. I couldn't really make out what it was. Might have been someone's stray dog, A big gold one. From now on no late night solo fishing for me...
  21. Ummm. Some say you shouldn't fold them. Does it really matter? If you let them dry would it be ok to store them in a tote from canadian tire? Replies are contradicting. I've been thinking about upping my budget and getting the G4's.
  22. Thanks for the info now it's a matter of going out and buying them Where is wilson's exactly? I know where bps is. Edit: Do they have a site?
  23. Hmm. So far the simm's have caught my attention. Does it matter how you store them? Can I fold them up and put them away in a tote?
