"Mike the Pike" is correct!!! So is "solopaddler"!! I found out the hard way too!! Don't think it matters as much in dirty or highly stained water....But after a foot vis, I'm going to fluoro!! If your going to run regular mono...Go with small diameter like Ande's tournament 6lb!! Cheers -

The dam in Caledonia has turned into a "Redneck Circus"!! On any given day, this time of year there are 20 guys poaching steelhead!! I live 20 min away, and didn't even attempt to steelhead during season!! Got just as many or more, up river. No "Redneck fishing team" there either!!

Was down there today Jack.....The bait of the day was a small piece of Scnieder's weiner.....with a touch of mayonaise. Too much mayo and you wont catch anything, so be conservative!! The key, was to fish the piece of weiner about a foot below the surface!! They were killing them!! :D :lol: :lol: Steelhead
