I use a turkey choke aswell.Have tried using the full and modified,but there is no comparison to the turkey choke.

WOW.There sure is alot of water around in the area. This is a shot of a small feeder creek to Simcoe, that is usually 2 ft wide at it,s best during the summer. Did find this fella/gal,close by aswell snacken .

How true Ben. I went through 4 boxes of slugs(for a deer hunt) a few years back, just to see what one worked the best. I would of thought the remington would of worked best,but turned out the Challangers were the best for my gun. As for the turkey loads,the ones pop does do just fine,so that saved me some cash. I,ll try to get out this weekend and show you a few shot patterns this weekend.

I know were suppose to be north,but we are pretty much centrally located now.LOL Both jakes I got last year, there were no hens to be seen during those mornings.Probly why it was so easy to get them to come in.

Maybe that fisher I seen during the fall hunt and the coy dogs, have something to do with the decline? I have seen some tracks,and the land owner has seen them,but thier numbers have dwindeled. The mrs,s and I will be out again this weekend to see what we can see. I know of an area that they are there,but too many guys in the area.Public land. We did get alot of snow this past season, so Im sure they are down. I just want one for the table. Boy they sure taste good.
