ICE HUT REMOVAL DEADLINE There are only a few more hours for anglers to get their huts off the ice. Midnight is the deadline for ice huts to be removed from Lake Simcoe. Each hut is supposed to be registered at the beginning of the season with the Ministry Of Natural Resources. If the ice huts aren’t removed, they can cause environmental hazards as the ice melts and can cause debris to wash up on shore. Owners who fail to remove their huts could face a fine of 150 dollars up to a thousand dollars under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There was even a hand crank motor,well I guess it wasnt a motor if you had to hand crank to make the prop to go.

SORRY EVERYONE. JUST DID A VISIT TO THE SPOT AND THERES 4 FT GAP OF WATER AT THE EDGE. EVEN THE MARINA DOCKS ARE SHOWING WATER AROUND THE EDGES OF THEM.GUESS THE RAIN DIDNT HELP. A few years back I use to hold a fun pike derby here in Barrie.This is when lakers and whites are now closed,but perch can be caught there aswell. It,s just a fun half day event.7am-12pm. A day to M&G and have fun. 5 dollar entry,one winner.Longest fish, not wieght.The walk is like 2 minutes,just out from hooters.Ya we can have a cold one after were done.Holes will have been drilled before you arrive ,not sure about bait,as I havent checked with the local shop or been to Jacobs this year,but will give a call if thiers enough intrest.

Which brings me to this,,,,,,,,,,,,,Why isnt BPS there? Why does LaBarons hold a no tax event during the show? Hell LaBarons was always at the entrance of the show.NO MORE. SHAKE YER HEAD. One can walk throught the show in an hour or so.Heck I walked through the spring show in 3 hours.Ya did it 3 times,just looking to meet other OFNER,S.Tickets were free or else I wouldnt of been attending.I know I keep saying "BACK WHEN" but that was when the show was the show.ENTERTANMENT.Ya spelt it wrong. nough said.
