  3. Good Day folks, Here is my situation and I know that some one here will be able to shed some light on this. I bought my house 11 years ago and I was told that their is a concrete pool that is buried in the yard, when I was bulding the deck I had them search for the pool and we found it it is 20 x 40 and the vintage of the pool is from the 60's maybe 70's. When we excavated the perimiter we saw that the pool was back filled with soil and general construction junk we now want to put a pool in the yard but the exsiting pool is in the way so I have some opptions 1. Excavate the exsiting pool and drop a new one in, or 2. Remove part / all of the old pool and go net new Any body ever been faced with a situation like this before? The cost is an issue and finding some one to do this is also an issue. I would lean to rip the old one out but I am scared of what cost I will encure as the age of this pool one would think that beside the concrete the metal would be a big issue, heck I have no problem as I have time on my hands to try to dig this thing out but the demolishing part has me thinking. Any suggestions? Thanks, FLEX
  4. The rule if you can move it then it is not broken is always not corrrect. Few years back, I fell on a fishing trip and broke my thumb on the second day of a 3 day trip, the hand swelled up big time I could barrely hold the fishing rod but I fished the whole trip then drove to TO from North Bay and ended up having it casted in Richmond Hill. Get it checked and good luck. FLEX
  5. Could also save a marriage or two. FLEX

  11. I Just ( last Friday) had my 2002 Buick done, it ended up costing me 300 per side for parts, got lucky had the chance to do both. My mechanic told me also that the wheel was about to fall off, don't take a chance and have them check bouth sides the other one may have started just like mine, when all was said and done with oil change $950 taxes in. Small price for safety. FLEX
  12. Help please, for many years I have used my neopreme hips from Cabelas, well they are on their last legg. So it is time to replace, all that I am hearing is that the breathable is the way to go, so I need help is this what you recomend? I also have the issue, that my foot has been fused due to a nasty car accident so my range is not the greatest, I have neopreme chests can't get my foot into, I tried the stocking breathables and I was okay as the are FLEXable so the foot went in. What is the take on breathables and what brand do you recomend? Yes $ is always an issue. Thanks, FLEX
  13. Thanks for the heads up. Do either of you gents by chance know their prices for breathable waist high waders? I was looking at the BassPro ones for $130. and I still need to stock up on some "stuff" Thanks, FLEX
  14. A friend of mine bought one of these reels years ago when float fishing was still quite young, but has never used the reel, is this reel any good? I realise that the technology has changed just wondering. Thanks for any feed back, FLEX
  15. Thanks guys. Just wondering why no tape? FLEX
  16. Help please, I picked up a new 13' Raven on Saturday and I am curious how others pick the location for their fishing reel. In the past I have always tried to find the center / balance point of the rod with the reel temporarily attached and that is my location, but the new Raven has a nice long handle so I was thinking that I would position the reel high enough so that the end of the handle is just at the end of my elbow. All advice is greatly appreciated. And a quick second question, what do you use to attach the reel, clear hockey tape or electrical tape? Thanks, FLEX
  17. Thanks for the welcome, I will try to do my best in both areas , get and get pics. FLEX
  18. Good day, first time poster long time lurker. Let me say that this board is great and full of really good and valuable info, I am or was a really avid fisherman but due to many different reasons my fishing has been dramatically reduced. After many years it looks like I will finally get a chance at a good Rainbow Opener but for the life of me I can not find the link for the Ganny numbers this year, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! Just a side note I live in the Vaughan area and would like to hook up with anybody to chase some chrome. Thanks
