  1. Nice job man!
  2. So, Myself and three friends went out fishing today in search of Pike. We got out on the water by 10ish this morning and had a great time. Started the day with Ben catch a 28-30" Northern. Man, this guy makes this fish look huge lol So After he caught that I moved out further and put my little fish finder down and was sitting at basically the same depth. Put down a fresh minnow and felt a huge *THUMP*...waited a second and layed the hook into the fish...Instantly felt alot of weight. Still not knowing why I fought this Pike for a solid 10minutes on 4lb Fluorocarbon and a #6 circle hook...no leader nothing. The sad thing is that I forgot to get a pic with the sign Here is the result, beat my PB by 1" 31" Northern Pike! Another Picture Woo Hoo...shortly after that my Tip-Up goes flying up into the air, ran over and set the hook on another solid pike. Don't worry Team 2 I got a pic of this 25" Pike with the sign to get our points started! Then it got really slow, Fish-Miester and Dave caught a handful of Perch until the evening and I landed 1 more pike...a tiny guy. Pictures- Dave's Perch And the small Pike Thought I would share my new little portable fishfinder I bought off of a member(Thanks man, it works great...still getting use to it though) Eagle Fish Easy 2 Well that's all for this evening, MTBF
  3. Sorry for the mix up in the past. Great job out there man! You really caught a huge walleye man, congrads! Mike
  4. Hmm, not to sure if they are 2-pc but I hear good thing's with the Shimano Compre Crankbait rods. 7'M for only cranks but a 7'MH will do cranks just fine with good action for other techniques when needed.
  5. If you are going prescription/polarized then you are looking at $300+. If you are just getting polarized glasses you should find a pair for under $100. I had to get Prescription/Polarized sunglasses and they cost me $170 fort the frame and a little over $200 for the lenses...then a $40 fee to have them polarized.
  6. Great job, but you went fishing 1 day too soon lol, hope you can get another now that are tournament has started up! Thanks for sharing, MTBF
  7. Neat little report man. The highlight of my Ice fishing career would be nice trout like that. Some Day I hope. Thanks for sharing, MTBF
  8. O ya, caught about 20per each of us(4 people). Fished in about 20ft of water out their, no giant's though.
  9. Ya, it was me for 6 people...i was the only person lol
  10. First I hear Mike The Bowfin Fisher, not I'm getting the go ahead for Mike the Ice Fisher ahaha. I'm just happy that I am getting opportunities to go out and catch fish. My next report might be this Sunday but most likely next Saturday for Pike/Perch. Thanks for the comments guys!
  11. Huge! Great job out there guys, MTBF
  12. $12 under the table. Did telemarketing for 2 weeks in gr 10 and had to quit. You need to be crazy to do a 4h shift doing that...omg
  13. Great job man, lakers are awesome!
  14. O ya, lol. I keep forgetting it's not actually the start of the 2010 Tournament. We were just on Simcoe from what I was told, and they were caught on a 3 way rig the man called them. Heavy weight with 2 hooks on like 3" of line in a triangle...let it sit on bottom and slowly bring it up from time to time.
  15. Went out to simcoe today with a few friends and rented out two huts and fished with minimal success. Caught only 2 fish 1 being a 11lb 5oz Lake Trout(PB) and a 3lb 8oz whitefish also a first for myself. We were fishing in about 47-48 feet of water under the hit and had a great time with the friends. Picture of the hut; And the picture of me with the Lake Trout and the Whitefish, a friend wanted the whitefish and the laketrout was bleeding like crazy so my friend kept that also. I didn't mind but what a fight that was to catch! Thanks for reading/viewing. Off to Couch tomorrow for some perch action! MTBF O and sorry team, my sign was at home
  16. I'm looking for a nice rod to put with a Shimano Sedona FD 1000 series reel. I want a good rod that I can throw tube jigs on and stuff like wacky worms. The 7' MF action rod might be ideal, I like to fish tubes on 3/16oz or heavier...right in the weight slot recommended by Shimano (1/4-3/4). It's interesting to see Crucial Flippin sticks up on their site as well...see what happens
  17. I was looking on shimano's site and saw a hole bunch more rods than our BPS and other retailers offer. Going to a smaller retailer like Gagnon's or Tightlines would they be able to order me in different Spec rod's(Compre's in particular) Just looking to see what people's success has been in ordering rods from stores that are less common Shimano Spinning Rods Link (Look at all the different models ) http://fish.shimano.com/publish/content/gl...e_Spinning.html Thanks, Mike
  18. I have and will be using 15lb Seguar Red Label Fluoro...works great
  19. Weather changes instantly my friend...unreal out there
  20. Sweet Deal guys, MTBF
  21. Today I went out with a good buddy of mine fish-miester to do some fishing. We were originally going for pike and FM managed to catch 2 small pike, but still PB smallest for his self. The fishing for them was slow and I ended the day off with another solid 12" Perch. We caught about a half dozen smaller perch but aside from that we had a great day out there. Enjoy Alex with the first of the day And him again with the 2nd and the PB Smallest of the day lol And then my Perch that I caught on a tip-up Had a fun time fishing today, thanks for watching. Stay tuned for a report off of Simcoe for myself this weekend! MTBF O and yes, I forgot to mention that Alex pulling the sled came into direct contact with a old frozen over hole and fell right through it lol. Thankfully I pulled him out right away to safety
  22. Nice job man, the kid looks like he had a blast. As for Balsam, haven't fished it. Thanks for sharing, MTBF

I got 2 huge Power Pro, Rapala, and a Extreme Angler TV stickers also and hopefully will be putting them on the boat once painted and fixed up...or moms car...not sure yet Just thought I would share my pimped out gear...o btw Trokar circle and 2/0 worm hooks look fantastic. Very, very sharp with their unique point. MTBF
