Met up with someone new from the board. Nice to meet you Crappieperchhunter! Look forward to the next trip! We were on the ice before the sun come up. Drilled holes. 10 fow. Didn`t take long before Steve had his 1st eye on the ice. About 30 min later another. I iced 1 and a pile of dinky perch. I was actually hoping for some crappie. Never seen one! Steve was running a spoon and minnow head. I was constantly rebaiting with pinheads. Got tired of the wet hands and just ran a BuckShot rattler with no bait. Perch still pounding it. I spilt about 10ish. Tons of ice. ATV`s and sleds everywhere. Pretty busy out there. I`m guessing 10 feet is too deep for Craps....Next time a bit shallower.

BTW, Fishing today was awesome. 100+ up thru the hole. Kept a small pail for dinner. Out from Gilford. 4-6" of ice. Fin-S rubber and jiggin Raps made them snap!

When he said swiss cheese I was like......Ya whatever...Couple of little holes. BUT NO! He wasn't kidding. That lid is destroyed by those furry little buggers! Thanks to Mike Jackson at Fishing World in Hamilton for helping out with this problem! We might get it installed tomorrow.

Anyone know of a supplier of lure parts in Ontario other than Real Pro's? Rollie and Helens don't have what I need. And Moores Lures is leaving for the cottage for 2 weeks. I'm looking for #5,7,8 and 10 colorado blades....Any ideas?

Go to the dollar store and pick up a foam cd holder... one with a zipper around the edge. Works great!

Buddy of mine was out from Etobicoke on the weekend. White Spin Doctor/Green fly or black/green, silver/green spoons all produced. 35-60 down in 120-160. 6 fish/5hrs. 5-15lbs. Nuttin huge but still a good morning.

This is one of the hardest things I have to do. I am looking for a home for my 7yr old Yellow Labrador retriever. His name is Magnum. He's been fixed. CKC registered with papers. He's great with kids of all ages. Loves to swim and chase sticks and balls. He's more of a couch dog than anything else.
