  2. That is a classic. Great Movie too. Who didn't jump in that one scene?
  3. It's hard to believe my favorite movie of all time was released 50 years ago. "The Godfather" starring Marlon Brando and Al Pacino. I had worked in a small fastfood restaurant run by two Italian brothers. One of them was really interested in the Mafia and couldn't wait for the release of the movie. He talked it up and I ended up going to see it with one of my co-workers, a nice. pretty, redhead. But the movie was great too. Intrigue, parts that made you cringe. Parts that made you laugh. For you, younger people watch the unedited version on DVD. Great Film! Little known fact - the horse head was real not a prop....They got it from a dog food factory in New Jersey. Second favorite is probably "Animal House". More recent might be a John Wick or Die Hard. Maybe an Indiana Jones... What is on your list of favorite movies?
  4. Welcome! I am rather new myself but a longtime stalker.
  5. Do you still have that projector? My brother gave me for Xmas, 3 of those movie reels with film similar to what you have stacked up. I am going to use them to decorate the man cave.
  6. That was from my 1st trip (so far) to Kauai Hawaii. Beautiful Island to visit.
  7. I have a Nikon P900 camera.
  8. Funny you should ask..... I do have a box full. What style/ color are you looking for? I'll take a photo or two tomorrow. Ever come to Cleveland? If the border gets back to normal, I may be able to send some back with one of my cousins in Toronto or Barrie.
  9. I found 2 - Mepps style gold blade with a purple marabou tail (MT215) and Green/Orange/Chartreuse Tandem (MT113)
  10. Yea I need to dig deeper into my storage crates. I think I have a couple.
  11. It's a shame so many have sold out. But you cant' blame them when they have a chance to make some big $$$. Running that business is probably not as lucrative as we would think. For some giggles look at the prices for these rentals. Whoever is renting them has some serious coin....What's $5,000- $15,000 a week. YIKES Boutique Cottage Rentals & Waterfront Cottages - Jayne's Cottages (jaynescottages.com)
  12. So far I have just found Lindy Big-Fin Spiinerbaits (10) and Lindy Little Joe Giant Tandem Spin (7). I'll need to dig a little deeper into my basement. Here's an example of each .
  13. Where are you located? I'm pretty sure I have a bunch unused in my basement. I'll check and post some photos. You can make an offer if you wish. Cheaper than $51.............
  14. Looks promising! Thanks. Have you stayed there?
  15. How does the fishing look for 2022?
  16. Back in the day, I rec'd my introduction to Canadian fishing at Rock Garden Camp on Blackstone Lake. The cottages were housekeeping with no showers and we used an outhouse. I would like to break in my grandsons to a place with housekeeping cottages with indoor plumbing. Any recommendations in the Parry Sound area. Species of interest- bass and pike. Musky and pickeral will do too. Kids will just want to catch fish. I enjoyed Pleasant Cove near Pointe Au Baril which is now probably #1 if they are still in business. Any other options?
  17. Great photo Lew! Sometimes you're in the right spot at the right time.
  18. Thanks.. We started going to Toronto from Cleveland in the 1960's when we connected with my great Aunt and Uncle. Just checked out the Honest Ed's photos as we walked from 141 Borden Street to the store. Man has the city changed. Last time we were up there was in 2018
  19. Thanks ! Has some of the lakes near Parry Sound that I like to fish.
  20. Congrats to the Angler. Hope we're able to visit next year!
