  1. Hey all, I'm in the market for a used van. I've got a good deal on a 2006 Honda Odyssey. It's has 95000k's and looks great. I spoke to a coworker that used to work for Honda and that all of the transmission issues have been fixed in the line and that it's a reliable van. I've read the reviews on it, and like every other car out there, some love it, some don't. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with it. Thanks Dave
  2. Highway traffic act says "forthwith" which means as soon as reasonably possible be it 24 hours or 72....
  3. MVC's where police are not called end up being civil matters...if he ends up giving you an astronomical quote then refuse to pay....if it's a scratch on a beat up truck it shouldn't be a lot
  4. lol....sorry man...where i work every thing is built on a grid and is north south east west...took me a while to pick it up....where i grew up it's turn left and go straight lol
  5. yeah sorry guys, i thought i was going north.....i'm directionally challenged-
  6. Hey All, Just got a quick question. I drove up to Collingwood yesterday and while driving on Highway 89 in the Hamlet of Damascus there was a small lake on the east side of the highway. I checked the GPS but it just said it was "Small Lake". Anyone know the body of water and if there is anything in it?
  7. You can get a lot of rare species....a friend of mine who had fish had an endangered species of Arawana
  8. Out of respect for the mods I will not comment
  9. this is all crazy anyway....who's got the beer?
  10. All the people arrested today were involved in yesterdays violence-
  11. if you noticed the stores damaged were major corporations - starbucks, nike, timmies, scotiabank....mom and pop shops were spared
  12. which is more important than a window... the bag w/ gas mask and riot helmet make our duty belt feel 50lbs heavier!
  13. Check the Toronto Sun. I know the gardener and other highways are closed... That being said, I don't think the 427 north is closed
  14. The reason why nothing was done was because they had standing orders to protect the perimeter. That's why the police were there. The black bloc tactics were to wreak havoc to pull police away from the convention center. If the police broke the line the violence would have been much worse. When I was there we were told to hold the line at all costs. That's why you didn't see coppers rush in. I don't know about you, but peoples safety and lives are much property. And if you've been watching the news, those responsible for the violence have been caught
  15. Love hearing the losers cry to the media about unfairly they're being treated as the protest at the temperary jail...sniff....poor babies...I guess housing the badasses in your midst is a good idea..
  16. Don't mind freedom of speech and freedom of peaceful assembly but that didn't happen
  17. actually the "sound canons" were designed to broadcast their voice. Pittburgh PD used it wrong last year. It was designed for the US navy after a vessel was sunk in the Persian Gulf
  18. No problem.....I'm a little pissed and hope that some of the hippies come up here lol....
  19. Oops, the reply was for canadadude's comment
  20. So when are you going down?? Oh wait, you're one of the armchair naysayersthat think the know what its like being in a riot...
  21. Correction, the group is black bloc...anarchist group
  22. Guys, please remember those involved with the violence were not protesters.... Its a group called the black box. They declared war on Toronto a long time ago and had officially stated that this weekend they will be there to destroy the fence and harm all of the police...
  23. For once, I think someone should follow the example of the Red Power Alliance - native protesters...they had planned to do a blockade on the 403 and up north along with their march. They changed their plans to avoid an militant action and had a peaceful march from queens park and as close as they could to the summit, then left. No problem.
  24. I think if everyone who's protesting down there went out and got a job there wouldn't be so many problems......i mean, if you have the time to drive to Toronto fron Saskatoon just to resist the "new world order" then you seriously need to get a job...
