Altough I do support the Sens there is not much to cheer about lately. The fact that I can be realistic about their performance and mock the leafs who still think they are going to have a cup year is humorous at the least.IMO Speaking of basements...I have a joke. Why are the leafs and a 10 speed bike the same? They both spend the winter in the basement.

I used to be a leaf fan but I'm all better now ...I think

Crow and Mushroom Stew 3 crows 1 Tbsp lard/shortening 1 pint stock or gravy 2 Tbsp cream 1/2 cup mushrooms salt and pepper cayenne pepper season with leaf fan discontent Clean and cut crows into small portions and let them cook a short time in the lard/shortening in a saucepan, being careful not to brown them. Next, add to the contents of the pan, the stock or gravy, and salt, pepper and cayenne to taste. Simmer 1 hour, or until tender, add mushrooms, simmer 10 minutes more and then stir in cream. Add discontent and enjoy Arrange the mushrooms around the crows on a hot platter.

Actually I just get enjoyment reading the replies of leaf fans who get their feather all ruffeled when someone comments about how brutal their team is.....live by the sword die by the sword I guess. One thing I do have to give credit for is the ability(or sickness) to stand by a team that sucks that bad...my hats off to ya. Even tho it is a sens hat...

I guess when you've had absolutely nothing but complete disappointment and rejection, owner and management that is the embarassment of the league ,coupled with no post season action for an eternity you have to be happy with the little good they give you...even if it's 3 games into the season and will mean nothing in a month from now...enjoy while you can ....suckers

Optimistically I can look at it and say with one win...Ottawa leaps to 7th or 8th place....will that happen? Who knows, maybe....one thing I would be willing to bet money on is at the end of the season the Laffs will NOT be in first place and Ottawa will not be in last. As soon as the Laffs wake up and remember that they are the Laffs, they will start to play like the Laffs and will miss the playoffs again as usual or as always...your pick. For any Leaf fans who don't know what the playoffs are....it's what happens after regular season for good teams... The Sens will be fine...better than fine most likely and will see playoff action once again. Go Sens Go!
