They completely upset the team chemistry. Letting Methot go was a disaster. You take away a number one-two D-man and partner to a guy like Karlsson and then your number one D-man is now not happy. They replaced Methot with Oduya.......what the hell?????? What kind of idiot does that? Oduya is like a 5-6 at best! Then you get rid of a classy, well respected guy like Turris and replace him with a guy who was a hold out, unhappy and vocal about his previous team and basically threw in the towel on them. Duschene came in and was absolutely brutal for his first 30 games. Phanuf..........we won't even go there! Loss of Murray as GM was a huge loss. He was the heart and soul of the team. Boucher defense only strategy is suffocating the teams ability to score. There is so much wrong right now it's hard to think of how this happened so quickly. So many bad choices, so many bad trades. I'm so pissed off I can barely watch a game. That said I am still going to watch them at CTC. Saw the laffs game, going to see them play NJD on Tuesday and have another game lined up before going to Mexico at the end of the month. Hockey sucks, I'm going fishing!!

In 36 hrs it has gone from 2 ft of snow to bare trails, flooded lakes and flooded stream and rivers. I guess I can put the sled away for a while and no chance I'm going to go stand in shin deep water on the ice. What a bummer. I absolutely hate January thaws. Weatherman says its going to hit negative temps around noon here in eastern Ontario and will be -10 by 5pm. We will get a trace of snow but it will take lots more than a trace for the snowmobile trails to reopen. Stay safe folks, don't risk your life for a fish. Hope for winter to come back!!

I've looked for a decent spinning travel rod and only one I found was a 3 pcs St.Croix that I borrowed from a buddy. I have taken a rod tube as well and as long as you are under or meet your weight limit for your total check on luggage you will have no extra fee. My fly rods fit diagonally in my suitcase so I'm good there. I have been several times to Mexico and am going again this year for bones on the fly!!! Awesome

I do support my team, thus me being at the game last night lol Duchene has not lived up to his billing or expectations for sure. What the heck is with that? Plays like a fourth liner for us! Karlsson is still top 3 or 4. The whole team has no confidence, last nights game was proof of that! Again,,,,,,no confidence on the team. How a team goes from second overtime loss in the conference finals that would have had them in the cup series to this is beyond me! IMO the character of the team was altered with Methot and Turris traded. You can tweak a team here and there but when you upset the chemistry , you are going in the wrong direction. Dorion has screwed things up big time.

I was at the game and it wasn't pretty. Actually it brought back memories of when I was a laffs fan!! The GM has broken the team, starting with bringing in Phanuf, then letting Methot go, and then Turris. Oduya is a pylon, Harpur is slow, Karllson is damaged goods and the forwards can't score if their lives depended on it. Fire the GM, Fire the coach.......rebuild!

I was looking at some stats the federal governments Pheonix pay fiasco has had on the economy here in Ottawa with the extremely high number of federal government employees here. Its staggering to say the least, people are losing their homes, cars and even quitting their government job so they can work and get a paycheck. The economy is way down because no one has any money. Until this is fixed and the parity of letting the Sens tickets be bought by corporate groups then yeah........it doesn't look good. Unreal!!
