Go on the OFSC interactive trail map. I heard that trails are starting to open up and are in good shape around minden/dorset

Hey Nick, I didn't know there was a g2g criteria for non-icefisherman that wouldn't show up anyway lol! It will be a good time. I remember seeing pictures of last year, let's hope for slightly better weather!
Old Iron - You'd have a much higher chance of wrecking your truck driving thru Hamilton every day than driving on 3 foot on ice lol

The plane had a near miss...........so it did hit something ? ? ?
Nice George Carlin 'headline'!

Frabill FXE Gauntlet gloves...by far the warmest I have ever owned. I don't like fishing in portable huts so my cut-off is -30 but up to -30 these gloves are friggin awesome, and very durable!

Is Jeremy using pliers to hold up that perch? Just for that I'm making him use his teeth next i see him!

Pike are definitely most fun in the winter, and tastiest too! Nice job

2013. I average between 14.5-16 l/100

I've gone through two feet of soft snow without chains relatively easy, just make sure you turn off traction control AND stabilitrak, since you will be spinning your wheels and any wheel braking will not help at all

The ecoboost would have to be pretty bad to be worse on fuel than my 5.3 lol!
-
-36 windchill tonight. OW!!

Fishing wise, to concentrate my trips into fewer, but better planned and more memorable and hopefully successful ones.
Oh, and to enjoy every last waking moment of free time before the wee one arrives in July/August.

Fantastic specks and an absolute hawgasaurus walleye! You're off to a better start than most!
-
-8 and snow all day, staying that way all night and then -6 and more snow tomorrow! Yeehaw

It's 12.2 inches, and is not a change from last year.New Brook trout limits in the Temagami area 5 fish only one over 11 inches. This affects you Chad.
Edit: MNR site is not updated to 2015 regs...d'oh

The way I see it, the diesel is a great option for someone that regularly tows a few thousand pounds, since no gas truck gets decent mileage while towing! If that truck can get 20+ mpg while towing a few thousand pounds, you will see a return on your investment if youre doing a lot of it.

Ouch. We've got a nice base and theyre forecasting another 15-20 cm here this weekend then -25's and -30's after that. Winter has truly arrived!
-
Good to hear from ya, Nick! Glad things are looking up, and the wee one is doing well. I wish I could scrape up a couple feeds like that!
-
Ohhh yeah, just have to factor in keeping them warm, because they do freeze very easily

Nipissing is an obvious choice. Things get lingy after dark out there. I'll even join ya if i can

VERY unlikely that those would be fishers. Likely otters or minks you are seeing.
