  1. One truck load of scrap metal, or not eating out one time pays for your year-round fishing license...perspective.

That's it. A conservation-minded angler can still harvest enough fish to eat fish a couple times a week all year for under 30 bucks. Hell of a deal as far as I'm concerned. The $2 fee doesn't bother me, but what does bother me is that the MNR will likely never become a funding priority for the province, and will be perpetually underfunded. I'd argue that they do a damn fine job with the hand they've been dealt!

  2. At2's are a great tire, one of my favourite a/t's. keep up on rotation and you should get at least 60-70 k out of them. They are more than reasonable in mud and rocks and have a nice rigid sidewall design. I'll likely go back to them on my truck. My sierra I bought in the summer came with true m/t tires and they are no good for a daily driver, unless you wanna sacrifice road manners and fuel mileage for looks haha

  3. Public school boards are secular by nature, so I don't see what's so surprising about a school choosing not to participate in such an event, even if the religious aspect of the holiday is all but gone these days lol.

Once the kids are out of school, they can dress and celebrate however and whatever they want with their families, so the whole 'Christians getting stripped of their rights' argument is just downright ridiculous.

  4. I have a 55 lb minn kota for my sportspal. I have an Interstate pro series 29....the largest interstate deep cycle. If you go to a battery shop or do some research online there is a simple formula you can use to figure out how big of a reserve yoy need to match the draw of your motor. For the 55, it was the largest haha

I run my battery just ahead of my feet, about 1/3 of the way up canoe but could also put it under my arse if I was strapped for space. Either way, if you're by yourself you will need at least 70 pounds up in the bow to weigh the front end down. If I had cable to spare I would just run the battery up at the bow. Do such cable extensions exist?
