  1. I've had several replaced but I've never dealt directly with St. Croix.

I've always just brought the broken rod into any tackle shop that carries St. Croix rods.

    Bingo.

I broke 2 8'6" premiers on big carp, and had them replaced both times. Not exactly fast, but it was done.

  2. If you turn up on any GTA tribs with a flyrod at this time of year (with the exception of part of the open water on the Credit) then most people that see you will assume you are fishing out of season rainbows using the excuse that you are targeting suckers (which usually show up later in the spring). Be ready for some abuse.

Rainbows are in season, so long as you're on a stretch of river that's in season...

Check the regs and see what stretches of your local tributaries are open. Use steelhead flies...if you're targetting steelhead, you're targetting suckers... :thumbsup_anim:

  3. Didn't someone catch a Chinook there a few years back? If a Chinny could find it's way in there... :dunno:

The French river is a very direct route from the Great Lakes....

The wound on the ling from yesterday was definitely smaller than what I've seen on chinook and steelhead in the great lakes. However the eel was very large and definitely looked like the other sea lamprey i've seen.
