  1. Nice outing , all safely released for another day? Joseph
  2. I think most would agree , especially because of the recent group of consevation minded river (float) guys that are on this board that bonking "wild" steelhead is not cool. There are coho's , chinooks even browns that are "stocked" that are put it the water for people to take home (no wild self sustaining genetics involved) I appologize if I sound offensive and don't mean to attack anyone in particular, I and many others spend a lot of time trying to make the fishery better and it hurts to see them not make it back. thanks Joseph
  3. Nice outing but you're not making any friends by posting deathboard pics of wild steelhead. Joseph
  4. How was the traffic down there Mike ? I might stop by on sunday after visiting the inlaws. Joseph

  7. I just built an external room onto my house and used radiant floor heating (wire) from Nexans and it works awesome. 280 square feet with a programable stat was around $600. It keeps everything warm. Joseph

  12. Chanco , when you guys fish in the summer , please keep an eye on the water temps. Use 20 degrees celcius as a rule and anything under that. Anything over that can be leathal. Clofchik, there are more wild chinnies than you would think Joseph
  13. Bill , the steelhead need the upper stretches to successfully spawn if we want to improve things. They can live just fine with the brookies. Joseph
  14. Regardless of what the regs state, you will quickly find out how much easier it is on the fish if you use a single point hook. Joseph
  15. xtreme marine 416-674-7142 Dwayne is great! Joseph
  16. A zero fish limit on unclipped bows couldn't hurt Joseph
  17. The short term thinking really boggles my mind especially from a guides point of view. I would think they would want to get involved and protect their resources for the future. All stocking aside , if you are going to take fish home then please take the ones with missing fins as that is what they are there for and release the wild fish that are very important tothe genetic future! If you fish the Blue Zone you can increase your success of survival with these fish by staying within the top 30 fow and NOT netting them or holding them by the gillplate or a gaf. You'll see these guys out there in a few years Joseph
  18. There's lots of bearing shops in Mississauga, I picked up a set by just bringing them in and the guy matched them up. $11.25 for 2 top of the line bearings. Joseph

  20. PM SENT , I HAVE ROOM FOR THE LITTLE GUY! JOSEPH
  21. Muddy , I would recommend a bigger stick like a 6 or 7 weight. Egg patterns and black stoneflies and egg leaches all work good! Joseph
