i never go out on opener for the past 5or 6 yrs!!!! way too many people who dont have the slightest clue what there doin!!! and way to many meathunters for my liking!!! i fished a spot once and down stream there was about 20guys fishin 1 pool!!!about an hr into opener 2 of them walked by me with a wheel barrel loaded with trout!!1 pushed the barrel and the other picked the fish up as they fell out!!!now i understand 20guys at 5 fish per guy is within there legal limit but just the site of it turned me off openers!! i'll keep the cold months too myself just the way i like it lol

got out with young one today on a trib he likes to try and help him out abit!! was a tuff tuff morn!!! blowing freezing cold winds, slush ect ect!! waters looked good!! fished and fished and fished!! every 2 drifts ya had to strip your line of ice!!! well young one didnt manage any unfortunately but i did!!! i got 2 while he was there and 4 more after he left!! they seemed to turn on abit later in the aft when the ice edges melted and the water started gettin dirtier!!! i nail a approx 15lb hen!!! was in the top 5 of most beautiful hens ive ever seen colour wise!!! bent over to get her and i hear ploop!!! 2nd time in a yr i have drowned a digi lol so hense no pics from me!!! looks like some warm temps and rain comin!!! rain and snow left to melt should blow the creeks again!!! so be careful out there!!! no fishin tomor i gotta spend the day with the wife!!! almost forgot i had 1 LOL thanks for comin out will and nice to meet ya!!

been a yr or so since i got out with my bud camillj. we hit a few tribs today and waters were good just lack of fish lol talked to a few other guys and not very much seems to be goin on. i finally hit a this hen on a jig after about an hr of drifting 1 hole!! then abit later i hit this nice fresh fat hen!!! (gotta give ya digi lessons bro lol) and that was it!!! was great sharin a drift again with ya bro!!!

well i went out last night around 7 for a few hrs !!! not a hit!!! waters were dirty and i thought tomor would be prime!!! wife tells me i can go out and play for a few hrs in the morn so i did lol what a diff afew hrs over night made!!! half the holes were frozen , water dropped and was crystal clear!! so i fished it all morn anyways and lost 1!!! a big diff from friday thats for sure!!! just goes to show ya 1 day their there and the next there not!! hope others did better then me!!!
