Well, so much for pike fishing, turns out that I have to retrain my daughter to fish Didn't even get my line wet! Oh well, met a couple of nice guys out there and Thea was catching her sunfish that made her happy! Even the guy fishing beside me had a nice jumbo surprise smallmouth bass, must have been around 6 pounds easy! Thea had a couple of pike and/or muskie follow he sunfish and Perch in to shore. All in all a nice afternoon!! Pictures are coming! Tinman

Nasty! I had one, and told my wife that this must be the same pain experienced in child birth. She was pregnant at the time, she said never. Bad Karma- 2 weeks later she had them and we finally agreed on something!

I generaly fish around Ottawa. but venture to rideau Ferry a lot, dad has his boat docked in Portland.

I'm a father of 2, 4 yr old girl and 18mth old boy. I work as a gas fitter for a large heating company in Ottawa. I'm mostly a shore fisherman. My fisihng partner is normaly my four year old, she loves to fish. I fish mostly for bass, and am thinking of hitting a few tournies this year, Always looking for an adult partner lol Tinner

Any suggestions where to go fishing of pike along the rideau river near ottawa? Thanks Tinman
