Thanks very much Floatman! I appreciate the kind words, during this unbelievably rough time for us. Also, congrats to your wife!! That's amazing. All the best to her in the future for sure.

Appreciate the feedback and thanks for the recommendation! I realize that I should have been a little more detailed about the deeper water fish, I'm glad HH jumped in and pointed that out. Cheers!

I guess I should have been a little more detailed... What I meant was locate fish in the 25-60 ft range, as the fish are suspended right now in deeper water. Most of the fish we have got were sitting around the 20-35ft mark, in anywhere from 25-60 fow.

Hahah, thanks man!

Do yourself a favour and go with LOWRANCE HDS units!!!! IMO, They are far superior to any other unit on the market right now. Worth their weight in gold! We strictly run HDS units on our boats and haven't had an issue with them at all! Radioworld is by far the best place to get electronics (no matter what brand) around the GTA. Their prices will not be beat!

We have been running and gunning all over the (southern part) of the Bay. The fish seem to be moving quite a bit right now, and locating active fish is the challenge. We have hit fish as close in as Long reach, and as far out as the gap. They are literally all over the place right now, but hopefully this string of cooler nights will start to bring in the numbers! The best advice I can give right now, is locate schools of fish between 25-60 ft, and troll over them, with various baits and various depths. Once you establish the depths of the more active fish, concentrate around that depth with a variety of lures until you can dial-in what they are wanting on that particular day. It's a tough go right now, but won't be..very soon!!!

Inside of the rig, just for Dan! lol I am installing a Lowrance HDS-10 on the dash and HDS-7 on the Bow tonight, with an additional HDS-10 or HDS-8 being added to the dash soon!

We've had the pleasure of being out on Quinte quite a bit in the past week or so in my new rig, trying to locate active schools of BIG fish that are finally coming in from the lake. The action is still very slow right now, but we managed to boat a couple PIG'S! Here are some shots of the first two fish caught in the new boat! First fish in the new boat... a beauty 7lb'er Second fish caught... a MONSTER 13.6 lbs! The new boat...

What is the format? Rosters? Positions? Points? Is it draft or fantasy format? What pool-hosting site are you using? I HIGHLY recommend Yahoo! Fantasy Hockey (I'm a hardcore poolie and that's what I use)

If you have time to wait for shipping then it's a good option... problem is...being the profession I am, I don't have time to wait. I might just order them for the future though. Thanks again for the tips.

Thanks for the help guys! NAPA here in Bowmanville, has them in stock, $19 each. I just searched on the website and they are $18 each. Good price for sure, and I'll probably order from them the next time I need them. Thanks again!

Does anyone know where I can get the PLATINUM NGK Spark Plugs from? (NGK # IZFR5G) They are for a 2005 Mercury Optimax (225 HP) I picked up 6 of the regular NGK plugs from CT yesterday, but I believe I should put the Platinum plugs in it, as that is what is recommended. I will be in Toronto today (404/finch), so if there is any place that carries them between Bowmanville - Toronto, I would be able to pop by and get them. Thanks for any help! *Stoty

Is that an offer to take me out?! lol Are there fish that will eat 13.6 lber's too? Cause we landed one of those today!

To be honest...I have no idea as this is my first Lund (and first non-bass boat). Yes, the boat is a tournament series boat. I was out on Quinte last Thursday, in 5 footers, and it handled them with ease!

You got it! He does awesome work!

It's being done next week!!

Thanks everyone! If you see me out on the Bay of Quinte, be sure to come say hi!

Hey everyone, Since this year has been pretty bad so far...I thought I would share something GOOD that happened! lol I sold my 2006 Ranger, and picked up: 2006 Lund Pro-V (2025) Mangnum IFS 225 HP Mercury Optimax 9.9 HP Mercury Pro Kicker 101 lbs thrust, Minn Kota Terrova with auto-pilot I opted for a deeper boat, as I have been slowly migrating from Bass fishing, into Walleye fishing/guiding. I have since got the boat wrapped in our company's brand (G2 Angling). Enjoy, I know I sure am!

If I were you I would narrow it down to two places.... Lake Nipissing - with Rob Hyatt, he is a great guy, and guide!! Bay of Quinte - With us (G2 Angling). Check out our website for pictures and blogs from last season on the ice, it was INSANE! Trophy Walleye were caught literally every weekend with us. We caught fish ranging from 2-3 lb eaters, all the way to just under 14lbs!! G2Angling.com

Well then.... have you thought about creating your own "Wikipedia" type site? Roykipedia, sounds good to me! Thanks again Roy, MUCH appreciated!
