  1. Interesting that behaviour that many would not except from someone delivering newspapers is defended, if not celebrated, by the mayor of the largest cities in this country.
  2. When you've got nothin' you go with your strength.
  3. The Rangers have dynamic priceing. The Islanders are in on Friday, same section, same price as Leafs. Sunday the Wild are visiting and the seats are $79 or so. In the lower, level premium seats, it is difference of $200 per.
  4. Just bought my ticket for Rangers v Maple Leafs at Madison Square Gardens on Dec 23rd. Never been in MSG. Second trip to Manhattan. Best part, the whole thing was my wife's idea. Lucky man.

  6. I'll submit to any test anytime. But that's not the point…unless you're grasping at straws.
  7. Not the point here (despite what some may think) but the feeling is crack = pot?

  9. http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/beer-makes-1-out-of-100-canadian-jobs-1.2415432?cmp=rss Beer makes 1 out of 100 Canadaian jobs. A report from the Conference Board of Canada says beer is a major driver of Canada's economy, supporting 163,200 jobs across the country. Canada's beer industry is disproportionately domestic compared to that of other countries, the report released Tuesday found, as 85 per cent of the beer consumed in Canada is produced here. The report claims that for every dollar spent on beer in Canada, the impact on Canada's GDP (net of taxes) is $1.12. 80 Litres per personThe brewing industry is bigger than Canada's dairy industry and 3.5 times larger than Canada's wine and spirits industries combined, the Conference Board says. John Sleeman, the founder of Sleeman Breweries Ltd. and chair of the industry lobby group Beer Canada, said Canada boasts many natural resources that aid the industry, including brewing grains such as barley, and copious amounts of fresh water. "As brewers continue to innovate and beer drinkers explore, beer will continue to be a steady economic driver in Canada," Beer Canada president Luke Harford said. The report also found: Canadians drink 23 million hectolitres of beer a year on average, which works out to about 80 litres per adult on a per capita basis. Beer is the most popular Canadian alcohol product, accounting for 45 per cent of all beverage alcohol sales in Canada. Beer currently makes up just under one per cent of Canada's GDP, and brings in $5.8 billion worth of tax dollars for municipal, provincial and federal governments every year. Share Tools
  10. It has often been said that in a democracy you always get the government you deserve. It's fair to say that at all three levels you can hear the circus music playing.
  11. The video that didn't exist that Lisi extorted? He sure does return phone calls. 250-300 a month to Lisi. I keep hearing about all the things he has done but nothing concrete has been listed except a subway that may, or may not, happen that he may, or may not have made a difference in. Let's hope that the new driver helps keep the people of T.O. safe. Edit to add: He didn't say what he was apologizing for, but has with most politicians (and children) it was likely for getting caught.
  12. Picked one up today. My son is a bit young for coffee but hot apple juice warms him up good.
  13. In spite of our thoughts about it, lots of people must still buy because otherwise they would have stopped making it long ago. Maybe I should pick up a case next time I stop in to the beer store.
  14. Smaller side tendon (stability) is better then the bigger achilles (power) but it still going to be a while. Any talk about a private investigator?
  15. Much like last election, people will be thinking "These are my only choices?"
  16. I've been wondering the same thing. It's not as if the economy is booming right now, but you'd think that someone who knows these things would be advising them so what do I know???
