  1. I use ABP ( ad blocker plus ) for a lot of sites you now have to disable it to get full content. I can hear videos on youtube, but get no picture unless I disable it on their site, some sites won't let you register with it on.

theres only 2 sites i've had issues with ad block,is this one, and business insider

  2. Perfect timing! It's all a snoozefest to me

Actually I just came across a funny article pertaining to the halftime show... Did anyone find it political at all? I didn't but this article I read seemed to think so and I thought it was laughable considering none of the "political statements" made were ever made in connection to any of the songs when they were released, until now apparently they're political statements haha

I should add, a simple yes or no will suffice, pm me to discuss if you feel the need lol don't want to stir the pot!

yes, the songs she chose were meant to deliver a message. from singing america the beautiful to this land is our land, to born this way, whos lyrics alone are a statement, the song choice was 100%a statement

  3. I just watched the presser with Brady and Belicheat introduced by the Commish, that was embarrassing, and Brady said he was always battling pain when he was in his 20's, now he has no pain. He will play until injury won't let him. Belichick can coach for 10 more years. Marv Levy was in his 70's when Buffalo went to 4 consecutive Super Bowls, Belichick is 62 I think. He has his 2 sons on staff coaching, mentoring them is number 1 for him now.

I begrudgingly have to say those 2 guys are the greatest player and coach of all time.

Brady is arguably the greatest athlete of all time, you are right M2B2.

Ali at 34 looses 3 of his last 4 fights.

Jordon is a mere image of his former self playing for the Wizards.

Jetter is a middle infielder batting .257.

Tiger Woods is walking around with wobbly knees and a bad back no longer making cuts.

And Brady isn't done yet, he is an ALIEN.

you forgot jaromir jagr and julio franco :P

  5. I heard all the 2-3 year old truck go south of the border to take advantage of the exchange rate. I'm looking for a used truck now and the prices are crazy

that they do,a neighbour had a fairly new truck, he bought it for 24000, 3 years later, sold it back to the dealership for 26000, bought a brand new truck.....

  6. its simple, basic reel maintenance, its like putting air in your tires. very very simple. remove the handle, take out the 3 screws, clean out with q-tip, put new lube in. done

only tools needed is a small precision phillips screw driver, a q-tip, new grease, and maybe wd-40.

  7. Emphasizes the dangers of drinking and driving.... yikes, how many young ball players from the DR are we going to lose?????

won't know the toxicology results for 3 weeks, but no alcohol was found at the scene.

    from http://www.foxsports.com/mlb/story/yordano-ventura-contract-royals-toxicology-report-012317

The fate of the approximately $20 million remaining on pitcher Yordano Ventura’s contract likely will hinge on his toxicology report, according to major-league sources.

The deal would remain fully guaranteed if Ventura’s death was determined to be accidental. The money would go to his estate, while the Royals — who had insurance on Ventura’s contract — would be reimbursed for an amount that is not yet clear, sources said.

Ventura, who died Sunday in an automobile crash in his native Dominican Republic at age 25, was guaranteed $19.85 million over the next three seasons, plus a $1 million buyout on a club option.

However, guaranteed contracts include exceptions that relate to player conduct, and Ventura’s deal includes a provision that will nullify payment for failure to perform due to injury or death resulting from driving a motorized vehicle while intoxicated, sources said.

Royals general manager Dayton Moore said on Sunday that the toxicology results will not be known for three weeks, but that authorities in the Dominican Republic had told him that no alcohol was found at the scene.

The Royals are in the beginning stages of discussing Ventura’s contract language with Major League Baseball, sources said. It is conceivable that the team could decide to pay a certain amount of money to Ventura’s estate even if the results of the toxicology report allowed the club to void the rest of his contract.

Ventura was set to earn $3.45 million this season, $6.45 million in 2018 and $9.95 million in ’19, with a $1 million buyout on his $12 million club option for ’20. The five-year, $23 million extension that he signed in April 2015 also included a $12 million club option for ’21.

The nature of any payout would be determined by Ventura’s will, presuming that he had one. If he did not have a will, the money would be distributed according to the laws of the Dominican Republic, sources said.

The financial legacy of Ventura is different than that of late Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez, who died in a boating accident last September and — unlike Ventura — was unsigned beyond 2016.

A toxicology report determined that Fernandez was legally drunk and had cocaine in his system at the time of the crash. But it is not clear that Fernandez was driving the boat, and his estate is still in line to receive a $1.05 million accidental-death payment and $450,000 in life insurance through a player’s standard benefits package, sources said.

Ventura’s estate could be eligible for the same payouts. He was the driver of his vehicle, according to reports, but it is not known whether the results of his toxicology report would affect the amount his estate received.

The Royals, depending upon the amount of their insurance coverage, could redirect some of that money to the acquisition of another starting pitcher. The team previously had about $2.5 million to spend in 2017, and was seeking to add another reliever, sources said.

  8. So sad to read this, both way too young for this to happen and I know that accidents don't care about age.

Wondering if Ventura is the same guy that Zaun was talking about bad mouthing and hiding on the bus a couple of years ago?

    Either way, sad for sure.

    HH

yes, thats him. still was a very talented picher. great fastball and devastating curve

  9. If you were a CO how would you get into their house in the first place

Gotta be evidence of a lot of game laws being broken to get that warrant

suspicion of being over limit is more than enough to get a visit. couple guys on rice were just fined 12,000 for being over limit on walleye. i know people that have been pulled over, and since they were the one with the cooler full of fish, and their buddies didn't stop, the CO charged them with being over limit

  10. What is the relevance of who caught the fish?

It is legal to give fish away to an unlicensed angler. Once given, they count to the recipients limit (which is a sport fishing limit for unlicensed anglers); so the angler can go out again and catch another limit.

I don't think it would become illegal just because they live in the same house. Although, they may need to able to identify who owns which fish.

they would then need to prove that the fish was given to them by someone not living at the same place. if i were a CO, and i was walking into a situation where someone recieved a full daily limit, i would question it. 1or 2 fish, sure, but a full limit? who gives away a full limit unless they are trying to hide it?

  11. So with a conservation license I keep my limit of only 2 walleyes. Once I get home I can then give them to the wife. The next day I can do the same because she has no license. Now the freezer has 4 walleyes. Then next day I go out again and keep another 2 walleyes, so the freezer now has a total of 6 walleyes because she doesn't have ANY fishing license and we are 100% legal at this point. However, if she also had a conservation license we would be over the limit by two walleyes.......DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE when you think about it.

the CO would laugh and say nice try, then hand you a fine for being over limit. think about it rationally, you live in the SAME house. so you have a freezer with 2 limits in it, you're the only one with a license. the CO will reasonably come up with the conclusion that you caught the fish. a judge would decide the same thing.

i think the only way this would work is if there a kid that does not require a license, kids 17 or younger are exempt from having a license. or if you are over the age of 64.

  12.

Most definitely, especially if there's some polar bear and harder to find feather capes from before they became rare/restricted. But, it's a sealed bid auction, so it may go for a good price depending on interest. It's only worth that much to the right person, to everyone else it's a pile of dead animal parts.

exactly, unless the person selling it knows the value of it all, then it will go for cheap

  13.

I just want my great grandchildren to be able to enjoy the pleasures of my youth, well I guess shooting rats at the dump with a 22 is pushing it , but it was more fun than any video game :ninja:

haha we use to hang out by the local creek, which had some steep sides to get down to the water. we would bring home snapping turtles, frogs, tadpoles, snakes. our parents loved us! lol used to ride our bikes down the hill and jump over the creek on a make shift ramp
