The Main Street Restaurant on Buckhorn must use those for their English fish and chips ...
One of our favorite restaurants Norm, love sitting on the waterfront patio eating fish & chips.

Your right, that park is in a beautiful location. We used to camp there way back in the 50's before trailers were allowed and they just had wooden platforms to put your tent on. The restaurant right at the entrance to the park is nice too with good food and good prices.

Burleigh Falls ? I used to paddle whitewater canoe but heard that one drop had a really, really nasty rock or something in the drop. I shld go and check it out at low water. Gorgeous view though
Yes, that's Burleigh Falls and I'm just a couple minutes south of there so go thru the area quite often and can't ever remember seeing anyone paddling down those rapids. I often wondered why and maybe the answer is the rock your talking about.
Sure is a purdy place to go though.

I expect you or anyone else reading this has fell asleep by now Lew. I better get off her before I am asked to. Again, sorry for such a long letter.
Not at all Barry, infact I found your story very interesting.
Couple years back I was walking along a dirt road thru the woods up on Lake Nipissing and I heard a branch break to my right. I looked over and a small bear cub came out from behind a fallen tree very close to me and then another behind him (her) and then sure enough Momma came out too. She pushed between the 2 cubs then lowered her head and her ears went back and she was just glaring at me with a look I'll never forget. I'm no bear expert but her meaning was very clear and I figured I'd better back away very quietly. She kept her eyes on my till I was far enough away and I just headed back to the cabin and never saw them again.
Funny thing was it was unnerving at the time but now I'm very happy it did happen and it's a memory I'll have for a long time.

That's some pretty wild looking water there Lew. 40 yeasr's ago I would have attempted in my Sportspal but today I doubt even my boys would.
When my son was about 10 years old he went down those rapids on a rubber air mattress LOL

I'll tell ya what Lew. That's just beautiful. I wish I had them visiting my lawn. Especially grizzlies.
I don't mind the black bears hanging around my place Barry but not sure I'd want Grizzles in my yard LOL

Thanks Barry, you've shown us a few excellent critter pictures, specially that grizzly.

I'm also going to check the drain screws as well... I didn't notice the washers on them when I unscrewed them. Either they are crushed onto the metal or they are missing altogether.
+++Good idea to change those washer every time you change the oil.+++

And speaking of cute pooches, my daughter just got this little fuzz ball recently and called her Murphy. She's a ball of fire and a joy to have around.
