Thanks guys, I can't take any credit for the picture turning out nice, I just point the camera and push the button and the camera does everything else LOL
Ketchenany, I just joined Facebook myself a few months ago and am still finding my way around it but did join Vintage Toronto and your right, the section about the old firehalls is interesting.

I never got into all the high end electronics and always did very well fishing. I had a half decent GPS that cost about $700 and a pair of sonars that were just used to show me depths and weeds. Never found I needed anything other than that and almost laugh when I see some boats rigged out looking like the cockpit on a 747 with all the electronics.
To me the fun of fishing was going out and looking for them and figuring out patterns rather than using very expensive electronics to do the work for me.

Haven't seen much posted lately but not too many years back there were lot's of complaints about Tracker boats having issues and it seemed as if many of the guys had a terrible time getting Tracker to fix the problems. You could look it up on Google and there were all kinds of complaints about lousy customer service.
++++Just for fun I just typed "Problems with aluminum tracker boats" in Google and this was the 1st thing that popped up++++

Hope this helps Chrispy, I'd hate to see you get stung.

We stayed at a camp on Angus about 20 years ago for a week and got nothing but a bunch of dink pickerel. The camp had boats on other lakes and all we had to do was carry our gear and a small motor & gas and we did well on those lakes. Sorry but I don't recall the name of the camp but it was just down hwy 11 from a tackle shop.
Sorry, but that's about all I can offer.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product Dan

I'm on Clear Lake just south of Stoney and the lake froze up right across a week ago then the big blow came in yesterday and now the ice is totally gone again.

As I mentioned above Chrispy, it's 20 something years since I was there but back then all the portages were very easy, short walks between lakes and unless things have changed you won't have to worry about the walks with the new knee.

No clue why, but that early fish can be a real curse.
But not always, my best day ever was opening morning of musky season in 2001
I left the dock at 7:30 and headed to a favorite spot and got a musky on the very 1st cast of the season then boated another 8 fish by 10:00, so 9 fish in 2 1/2 hours.
But it doesn't always work that way LOL

I get chills everytime I hear those babies.
We lost a cousin in WW2 when his plane was shot down somewhere in Europe,
Two years ago I was sitting in a parking lot in Lakefield and heard a roar coming towards me and when I looked up it was an old WW2 B-29 bomber. A couple years earlier I had a B17 fly over my house. They bring these old planes up to Peterboro airports and take folks for rides and it sure is nice seeing them flying around the area.
My Mom's brother was also a bomber pilot and was killed along with his crew when they went down.

I've always admired that car of yours Dan and years back a friend of mine had one pretty well the same as yours.
