I spent 3 hours clearing my driveway this morning then went over and did my neighbors but it was well worth it as she came over a few minutes ago with a carrot cake as a thankyou LOL

Your welcome to my picture if it's any use to you Chris.

His name was Andy Kartashov (sp) Dan and he was a great guy. Him and I became good friends and fished together quite a bit and then after a few years he gave up his website (muskiestriker) and just sorta drifted off into the sunset.

Good to hear Chris.

The good ole days Norm
-
Same thing here Norm, I think this is only the 2nd one I've seen around here infact I've seen far more bears than owls or coyote's.

This big guy has been hanging around all day, hope he doesn't grab one of my song birds that spend the winter here.

My Dad joined the Navy in 1940 and his brother joined the army the same day. Both gave up 5 years of their lives to help beat Germany and both came home safely at the end of the war. My mom's brother flew bombers over Europe and sadly was killed in 1943 when his plane went down. My dad's father spent WW1 as a sniper in the British Army in the trenches of France and said he killed far too many people but it was something he had to do. He was hit by shrapnel and awarded the Military Medal but made it home in 1918. Thankfully he lived a long and wonderful life in Ontario and I was lucky enough to love him till I was 35 years old. 3 of my mother's uncles fought in WW1 with the Canadian Army and also all made it home. I'm always very proud of my family and the contributions and sacrifices they all made to help make the world a better place for the rest of us but especially on November 11. My Dad home on leave. And Mom's brother delivering Airmail in Ontario before he started flying bombers.

No chance of that Wayne.

That's exactly the way I looked at it too John and is also the reason I won't be going back there again. Too bad really as I've always had excellent service from them before with purchases of 3 sets of tires plus new wheels for Sheri's car.

Good to hear from you again Peter, it has been a long time. Congrats on getting married and looks like your really enjoying your life in one of the nicest parts of Canada.
-
Good to know everyone is in agreement with me.

It's too bad as I've dealt with these folks a few times and their prices have always been good but I don't like this new policy and I've got a well respected dealer much closer to me with the lowest price.

Wear pattern is perfect and something I always keep an eye on.

I like the Michelin Defender tires for my F150 and I'll be buying a new set in the spring when I take off my winter wheels & tires. I was phoning around yesterday to get some prices and one tire dealer told me something I've never heard of before. I MUST allow them to check my wheel alignment ... (for free) ... and if adjustments are needed they'll do it for $140. If I decline the offer it will void the warranty on the tires. I saw something on the net awhile back about a scam similar to this but didn't read the article and just wondered if anyone else has heard of this before. FWIW, I'm very fussy about my tires, rotate the every 5000 miles, check the pressures regularly and replace them every 6 years.

That was actually one of the nicest sunrises I've seen this year so thought it was worth taking a picture of.

If you want to drive to Burleigh Falls I've got a bunch of 6" x 6" x 15" pieces that your more than welcome to. LOL
-
Stack up some 4 x 4's instead and you'll have nothing to worry about.

Good to hear the eye is getting better Brian.

They're at the dealerships waiting to be purchased.
