  1. When you remove the old impeller, ALWAYS piece it together, any missing pieces will be in the motor somewhere and need to be removed befor going out again or you may run into a major (read: expensive) problem with a potential overheat. You may need to start taking it apart. Check on iboats.com, you should be able to get some help there.

  2. I was there in the afternoon and picked up a shirt and some odds and ends. Coleman fuel for 15pts off, I was in! Spoke to Charlie Wray for quite a while, he is a great guy and I know some guys don't like him cuz his show can sound like an infomercial but you have to remember, his sponsors are the ones paying his way. Angelo Viola and Pete Bowman were there too, I tried to find out who the new host was going to be but I couldn't get it out of them. Its a nice store and they have a decent selection of what I look for so they will get my business before BassPro does now. BPS is great but I'd rather support a Canadian company before I send my dough south of the border.

  3. Where is your place? Stop by the cottage when i take it over in September, look for my starcraft.

We have a trailer at Bluewater Resort, it's in the little bay just beside Paragon Marina with the big cruisers and the town dock. Good for you for chiseling on the price, the real estate agents up there are notorious for overpricing. I'll see ya when I see ya up there in September, I'll keep an eye out for your boat.

  4. Should you be changing the oil at only 6hrs???? Stick to the manufacturers recommendations, if they say 20 hrs, that's when you change it. The reason being that the oil that is in there has all the assembly lube in it that helps to make sure everything seats properly. Don't worry about it now, if it smells strongly of gas later on, check the oil level, if it's 'making oil' in other words, gas is thinning the oil and increasing the amount in the crankcase then yes, you have problems. This early on, don't worry too much. Keep an eye on it.
