this is an interesting website to read: http://www.friendsofscience.org/index.php?id=3
but again, there's always pros and cons on things like this...personally, I'm tempted to believe Global Warming is nothing but more Bull governments are trying to sell us
-
ppl sell guns even on kijiji lately
-
pm-ed you
-
AWESOME !!!
-
both idiots.. the guy in the truck obviously
the driver taking the video:
i) operating a cell phone while driving
ii) driving in the left lane and not passing
cruising on the left lane...in Europe you'd get pooled over and ticketed for it, unfortunately it causes lot of things like this in North America...on Ontario freeways is well known that the speed lane is the most right one :D

I doubt any money could compensate for spending pretty much all your life in prison...

They can easily check to see if you have a licence by their little hand held computer. We had a friend who forgot his and they did it in about 10 seconds. They just choose not to sometimes
that being the case if you can produce another form of photo ID, if you forget your wallet...u kinda screwed
-
jeeee...horrible !!!

I've been in an accident where police report said 50/50 and my insurance put it 100% on my back...and I'm pretty sure the other guy's insurance did the same thing. That's what insurance companies do around here, take advantage of us to make insane profits...A dash cam it's a very good idea, I'm sure it even stands as evidence in court...
I'm getting one
-
This video, and the one with the transport passing the snow plow were both taken on the highways that I drive several hundred km's per week on. Wish me luck.
there's one for you
makes me think about getting one

better get a dash cam
-
Would be my natural reaction... someone noses out and the highway is clear, so you think at some point he'll hit the brakes and you go around the nose of the truck and carry on after a few expletives... only this guy didn't stop!
yeah but what if other car comes on the other lane? you'd end up in a head-on, much worse. I'd always go for the ditch
-
Yeah…really lucky none was killed.
I would have killed the guy right there on spot
-
just don't point the gun at the instructors foot...
...anywhere else is OK

lots of private cottages on this website:
http://www.cottagesincanada.com/
I rented one last fall on a little lake, loved it
-
Pretty sure it says in description that its not available yet in Canada. It uses actual sonar readings from customers boats. When you go to update ur navionics map, it uploads ur data first and uses the info to create better detail... Thats what i understand anyhow. Lol
won't work for me cause I only have it on my phone, no sonar

you had previously stated that you are NOT knowledgeable about life in the country...beats me
yeah you're right but I meant LIVING in a house outside town if I live in town doesn't necessarily mean I'm lawyer or something and I can't fix anything in or around the house...or my boat, or my car
-
if you aren't handy at all, or experienced in country life, off the grid is not a place you should be
I'm electrician so I guess I could handle the handy side
-
I live in the country and it isn't any cheaper
I was thinking about installing solar panels, a geothermal system that would give me heating/cooling, a well for water and a septic so, with that I guess I could get off the grid . I know it would be a bit of an investment but if I could put it in he mortgage would be easier...since I don't have the money to pay it up front
just an idea, I'm not very knowledgeable about life out in the country but I'd like to try
-
I have a better idea...how a bout a "coffee sled" to go around the ice ...like the "coffee truck" that goes around construction sites and plants
-
you forgot to mention the beer
-
I guess the best thing to do, like Les Stroud used to say , would be to get off the grid If I could afford a house out in the country that's what I would do for sure...

We had one. It was always acting up. Got rid of it and set our own programmable one to March up with lower rate times - way better.
it does act strangely if you let it on the "learning" settings, comes from the factory like that otherwise in manual mode it's very easy to set up, especially on the web browser. But different ppl have different preferences. It works well for me, I love it
btw, if you still have it I'd be happy to help you set it up
