Autos hold the power so much better then any manual will. There's another reason why all the hypercars don't have manual options.
What do you exactly mean by "hold the power" ? Cause neither me nor Google never heard of it

did you know that you basically cannnot purchase a ferrari or Lambo stick anymore? Basically the only way to get it is through a very custom even more so expensive order.
Paddle shifting in F1 completely changed that process...you know why...because just like the rest of the thread A computer is capable of depressing the clutch, rev matching your flywheel and engaging the clutch once again to make perfect gear shifts in a milisecond.Just watch an F1 drivers cockpit view they shift...the speed at which they can change gears going into and out of corners is stupid.
You dont have the abiliity to do this, but a computer sure as heck does, and thus its faster.
It sucks because I friggin love driving stick, but i havent driven a stick car since i sold my protege 4 years ago. It sucks but thats the reality of technology.
I feel you but I'd say we should complain about the stick not available on those sexy cars when we can afford them
And 1 ms shift it's a bit exaggerated, it's more like 50-100 ms
I've been driving Jettas with the stick for the last 15 years and I love them so, think about one

I like driving a car from Barrie north, driving south I'd rather sit in a self-driving car or I wish I could afford a chauffeur and a limo

Upon extensive investigation, American police has concluded that Uber self- driver was texting, hence no brakes were applied ???

Fishello everybody
Does anybody have any info if the ice on west shore, Gillford - Innisfil, is still good to walk?
Was thinking about trying to get one more jumbo dinner before the meltdown.
Appreciated!
Thanks!

In the circumstances seen in the video released by police, had a human driver hit and killed that person, it would've never been found guilty so, why blame the self driving car?
I'm 100% sure the technology on that car has better abilities to detect and avoid collisions than humans have...Besides that, probably most people have no idea how much we're already exposed to fully automated equipment out there. Nowadays most planes take off, land and fly by themselves and how about laser surgury? You're trusting your eyes totally to a computer...
Justa few to mention...

I'd say...grab a water hose with your left hand, hold it tight, wet your pointer finger of your right hand, run it around all the exposed wires and connections see if you get a slight zap and your hair goes instantly curly then you'll be able to track down the point where the power is lost
Or...call an electrician

Thanks all!

Sheridan gun club. Not too far south of you
I googled this, couldn't find anything

What discipline/s are you into ? Not all ranges have everything, I liked centre fire rifles, had 200 yds at the range I belonged to, would have enjoyed more. Some are shotgun only, trap ,skeet or sporting clays.
I still am a member of TCRC in Waterloo region, they have 300yds rifle so, the longer the better
I also shoot trap and archery but those are more common.

I recently relocated close to Angus and I'd like to know if there are any shooting ranges around that accept members?
Anybody a member of the Border club to help me with sponsorship maybe?
Much appreciated, thanks!
