I have $200.00 to spend on a musky rod I would like an all around rod I for casting and trolling musky baits I currently have a Shimano calcutta 251 reel

I'm Heading to Balsam Lake this weekend for 2 days to try for some musky Does anyone have any good patterns of baits for this time of year for the lake . Body baits or more Bucktails . I usually do ok with the black and orange bucktail in liner spinner.

Well guys thanks for all the great advice and tips As I spoke last week I had a bass and Pike tourney there for my work and I won Thanks again I will post pictures later . The bass and Pike all were caught on Rattle traps Crawfish pattern

Hi Everyone I have a little pike and bass competion this weekend with a bunch of people from my work and it will be held at the Guelph Lake but I have never really fished it this time of year. Just woundering if anyone has any tips or advice. I guess the bass and the pike would be a little deeper this time a year?

Well I'm heading up to nipissing for a few days just with my 2 daughters 3 and 5 to do some fishing for 3 days I'm staying in Northwest bay .Does anyone have any idea how this fishing has been on this side of nipissing or what types og baits work good for the walleye .I will be fishing multi species to make sure I keep the girls busy. I'm pretty sure this side of the lake is shallow.

Hey everyone I haven't posted in a long time been pretty busy with work and my 2 girls I will be heading up to the french river some Muskies in 2 weeks anyoen have any good tips for me I will staying near the Dokis reservation . i have never fished allot up there for them Just looking for some good advice . Also will be doing some Walleye fishing.

Well i just picked up a Minn- Kota mk 220 bank charger 2 banks at 10amps per bank Just curious are these pretty straight forward on the instalation I have 2 batteries hooked up in a 24V system Also I have to install a 50 amp manual reset breaker but not sure who to install and were about does it go It is the motorguide reset breaker

I am looking at getting some worm harnesses I will be fishing up in the west of nipissing and I don't have allot of experience with them Does anyone recommend a brand or style and also what is the proper set up for them 3 way or just a one way swivels also what weight is recommended if any in about 8 feet of water

Well I will be heading back up to Nipissing this weekend and I need to charge the 2 new batteries that I have I have 2 new Interstate 27 series deep Cycle for the new Minn-Kota Has anyone seen and Chargers on sales If so What kind will I need I know it has to be able to charge deep cycle

I was up on the weekend on the west side of nipissing and the bugs weren't that bad and the water level was ok also But mind you it was a little windy

Well i guess I'll buy a charger that has a deep cycle charge system correct and do the one baterry at a time Thanks again you guys have been a great help

Thanks Right now I have no onboard charger I have a 24V Minn-Kota 80lbs Maxxum So I have positive on the trolling motor going to one battery and the negative going to the other battery and then I have a thicker cable joining the 2 off them togeather . I will have to get a 40 amp circuit breaker My main concern is the proper way to charge them until I get the onboard charger If you charge one at a time won't the cable joining them togeather cause you to charge both Thanks guys for helping This stuff is new to me

So I guess I need to remove the jumper I have going to each of them that makes them the 24V system
