  1. I have my boat insured under my house[at no extra charge] policy ING this includes fire and theft. I't's automatically insured if it's hooked up to a vehicle any vehicle..even yours.

I have no collision fire or theft for when I'm on the water or docked at a marina or something.

but what I do have is a 1,000000$ liability policy at 108.60$ /yr.. ING

if i hit someone or cause death to a swimmer or damage private property I'm covered.

If I hit a log or run aground I take the loss.

  2. Look for Walleye and Pike on the east shore of Barlow Bay in front of the rock cuts..

There are some islands in front of Vacationland that hold Walleye and Pike...

Good Luck... Nepewassi is a very pressured lake be very patient.

  3. I'll spend about 1200.00 on gear alone for the whole year.....I lose about 500.00 of that stuff during the first week of fishing.. :wallbash: :wallbash:

1200.00 is excluding the boating stuff such as gas and oil and regular maintenance..and tournament costs

    All tolled I'm looking at about 2500.00 - 3000.00 /yr.

My wife says it's more if I include the beer for when I get off the water.

  4. EH!!

Suburban....same truck as the silverado/sierra..same problems.

This is what i see from behind the parts counter..

#1 Brakes front and rear..they're too small for the weight of the truck especially a fully loaded suburban.

#2 Wheel Bearings...I sell at least 1 a day. Keep this in mind "THERE ARE NO MORE LIFETIME UNITS" A/C Delco , SKF , Fenco, good dresser, Timken, no longer offer a "LIFETIME" warranty 1 year at best.

    #3 FUEL PUMPS...sending unit assembly...I sell 4-6 a week.. the population here is 13.000

#4 Ball joints and front end... all these parts are available at "Lifetime".

#5 A/C Controls and Compressors... Blower Motors and Resistors.

    #6 Transmissions.

As for the All Wheel Drive option vs 2WD, 4H and 4L....

AWD is the way to go... I have this option on my Ford Expedition.. and I love it

Just be sure to run all the gears in and out forward and reverse at least 2 X a month to prevent a costly repair.. those trucks are also known for their transfer case motors.

Did you consider an Expedition or is to short? or are ya just a Chevy guy?

I've had my EX for 4 years now and have put 120.00 k's on it .... she's cost me less than 2000.00 of repairs... front end and wheel bearings here too...but SHE"S A PIG ON GAS 9.5 city

    15 hwy.

    Good Luck on the purchase!

  6. Get a cheap backrest at CTC or Kijiji.. and get a welder to modify it .. or just get a welder to make

one.. draw up some plans..use the PAINT program on the computer to Imagine one.

I personally would get a couple brackets made of 3/16 plate bolted to the tunnel...but easy enough to take off for riding. Design the brackets to hold an auger and your pack..spare gas and such.

Look for an old fourwheeler rack ??

    Or you can try this..

  7. ...Hello :)

I have a first Cousin whom was born there in 1981...my Aunt and Uncle stayed at RMcD

for nearly six months..on and off..for a couple dollars a day...they still praise it today!!

Here's why.... their Son, my cousin Denis and his wife Melissa, had a little girl there @ Sick Kids

    three weeks ago...

Melissa is staying at the RMcD HOUSE!!! Denis still has to work and commutes from Sudbury on weekends.

It's costing her 15$ a day, no charge meals good menu apparently, no charge calls home or to family, there's always someone to talk to and the staff is awesome!

    Randy From Sturgeon..

All the best to you and your family in the new year!!

  8. I wish it were like that right across the lake... now with all the rain we've had...we stand a better chance of actually being able to cross with the trucks this year.

Cache Bay is the same and most of the west arm as well... now if the big lake can do the same we'll be in good shape...we need a BIG cold snap..
