    I use a Speedy Sharp to keep 'em up I also have a FIN III... it has over 500 holes on it I'm sure, and I retouched the blades last year .. still cuts like new , no pressure required.

     

    But as others said... If you change the angle of the blades you're done for.

    I bought a replacement set at CTC just in case for about 25$

     

    Speedy Sharp cost me 13.99 and works on almost any blade...

    WINTER POEM

     

    It's winter in Canada

    And the gentle breezes blow

    Seventy Kilometers an hour

    ...At thirty-five below.

     

    Oh, how I love Canada

    When the snow's up to your butt

    You take a breath of winter

    Your eyes and nose get frozen shut.

     

    Yes, the weather here is wonderful

    So I guess I'll hang around.

    True... Wayne.

     

    But for a TOY .. man It's kinda like a four wheeler .. but it has a

    cab and heat ...

     

    You'd never see me with that thing at the drive in. :w00t:

     

    Yep .. that Yellow one looks pretty good... I'd put a plow on it

    and attach a few pool noodles to keep it a float .. just in case.

     

    Useless, but yet.. Useful

     

    I wouldn't want to hit one with my Expedition.

    I can bring , Oh 36 or so Dogs and some condiments... propane and the BBQ...since I'm driving home just a 6Pk for the day...

    I can also pick up some bags of chips ..

  22. Which auger?

    I also have a FINBORE III 8" with offset handle , and will race any stock 8" gas auger for 1 hole start to finish on 8-10" of Ice and beat it and the operator 95% of the time... 15 years ago , when I was in better shape, I used to race for 2 holes just to show off but not anymore.

     

    the FIN hands down! :)
