    Ok I see your wife & two cats & two rats but where's the dogs.

    Rats.. that's about the size of 'em.. :clapping:

     

    Tiny is awesome with the kids has a heart of gold and is as big as a St Bernard (in her little head anyways).. she hunts snakes, frogs and bugs..

     

    Paris... well let me tell you ,If you don't know the breed.. Min Pins were the first bred vermin hunting breed .. "King of the Toys"

    She has yet to be caught or intimidated by any dog.. scares off bears, chases Squirrels, Hares and Partridge even brings them back (not the bears)...10 Lbs of pure muscle.. 4th fastest breed on the market.. she thinks she weighs 200lbs and so do I sometimes...

     

    As for Tiny .. we got her when we were in an apartment... we rescued Paris from an abusive family at 6mos old...

    Now that we have property and room for a bigger dog.. later this year we will be getting a large breed.

    I had a 9 yr old try to steal my now 14 yr old Chihuahua,Tiny, from my yard....I tore the hood clean off her jacket while slamming her to the ground..It might sound cruel today but it wasn't when it happened.. glad I got my little dog back...

     

    Tiny was 11 yrs old at the time...about 7:30 AM one spring morning a little girl walked into my backyard ..untied and picked up my Tiny after I'd let her out for a pee.. decided to walk home with her in arms... I happened to look out my front window and seen her (Tiny) looking over the girl's shoulder back at me... I was in my boxers and slippers..(insert ADRENALIN SPIKE :angry: ).I ran out onto the street and grabbed kiddo's hoodie and pulled her to the ground...With purple hood in hand grabbed Tiny and walked back home.......(BOOOO TO ME I know I overreacted) I know it sounds cruel.. but I felt so robbed of a family member and ,who would have the nerve?

     

    Her Dad payed me a visit along with the Police... but when the whole story came out .. the little :devil: was at fault and got a rather lengthy speech from the officer..

    and so did I. :blush:

    I say the same to the Ire's ... have a great day tomorrow..

     

    Although I wear a Red shirt out to the pub tomorrow night.. to razz the Ire's 'bout my Scott heritage and my Pop's tradition...It's all in good clean fun...

    I had a 2001 TDI and I loved her!! :worthy:

     

    60+ MPG , better than any car in it's class outhandled and outpowered any compact, Focus, Cobalt,Cavalier,Protege,Elantra,Civic,Mazda3 you get the idea.

    ...man I loved her..... I had a newish waterpump seize and a timing belt slip and KABOOM!!! that was the end of that. :stretcher:

     

    I'm now in a '08 Mazda6 and would go back to my '01 Jetta any day.

    I have a 600$ Dewgooders ..9 piece Himalaya Edition that was on Discovery's Eco-Challenge.. actually seen Everest and the Congo ..Brazilian rain forest etc..

    Crazy .. I could go underwater and not get wet...

  21. NF how do I get batteries out

    I put a wood screw into my batteries and pulled them out with pliers.. sprayed wd-40 on the inside and wiped it clean with paper towels and let it dry...

    dropped in new Duracell (14.00$ :wallbash: )batteries and

    it works like a charm. I love my Mag-Lite

    You runnin a grow op? That is one crazy bill.

     

    Last year's big winter bill ( I heat with Hydro) was 750.00$

    this winter was much warmer than last winter so I assumed I used less energy... but my bill just about tripled? I have no idea why..

    come Monday they're sending a technician to inspect my house for faulty grounds that may be the reason for the hike? :dunno:

    Ya gotta feel for everyone affected by this quake and tsunami..

    You also gotta wonder when the "BIG ONE" will hit our west coast

    seems that it's well overdue... hoping that it won't happen in our lifetime but it isn't looking good.

    8 walleye in a couple hours is good. Why the Goose Islands? I thought you were heading to Blueberry Island in the mouth of the French?

     

    We went out to my buds shack ... where we could have shelter from the rain , we took the chance of missing out on lunkers vs maybe catching a few legal limits... Nipissing won this time 'round

    but I'll head out on Saturday when I have more than a few hours and try a few spots around the mouth by Brown Island and Franks Point.
