Charlie has an informative show, nothing wrong with trolling ( for fish ) , I find his show to be a whole lote better than some on WFN...

a few shows from the 80's come to mind... no names ,but I was stalked and trolled here at OFC on Facebook ,YouTube and by web-mail by an ex fishing show host a few years back , because of a few observations I made about him.

I traded my 01 Merc 20 @113 lbs for a 98 Evinrude 30 @ 114 lbs , difference is about 7 mph and not much different on fuel , when I have a full load is when I appreciate the extra 10 horses .

I have a similar set up , my boat is rated for a 25 , it has a notched transom , I run a 30 Evinrude no problems or damage , the exact same model with the full transom is rated for a 40 .

If you're talking about the sticker that says MAX HP... That's what I was worried about , as I was told by my insurer and the OPP that it's a law only applied in the US and is simply a recommendation in Canada ..

No charge , after all ,taxes pay for the rescue , weather it would be an accident or plain stupidity .. everyone deserves a free rescue IMO ..

No bashing or upping ... It's just what we did at my brothers cottage this past summer , old shingles off , found rot on the roof boards , replaced them , applied membrane and green steel roofing , chimney and two roof vents .

Sorry Bush , I never disagreed with you ... just stating what I'd be worried about .

I meant that you can't put a membrane on top of shingles .

I would for sure care about rot ...I wouldn't put Bondo or a sticker over the rusty spots on my truck ..

Take the shingles off , it shouldn't even be questioned , what if there's rot under them ?

Don't skimp out on the waterproof membrane , and no.. You can't put it over shingles , do it once do it right ..

The steel roof would be the last roof that that cottage will ever see .

Funny you say this , my microwave caught fire yesterday , chipped paint around the turn table shaft , turn table plastic supports caught fire .( no damage to the house ) blackened cupboards is all .

I then started looking for a right hand hinged door , sounds easy eh ? Impossible unless you want to spend over 700 $ for a 1.5 cu/ft unit ...

1.5 cu/ft stainless unit on sale at CTC right now for 99$ , replace it ... but .. take the old one apart and keep the magnet .. Well worth it , very strong !

If you're for painting it , epoxy paint would be the way to go I'd guess ...

Strip old singles off , apply self sealing waterproof membrane , steel roof ... never to be touched again ... looks great , sounds even better under rainy skies .

For a smaller outboard on my boat 14 ft no brainer, 2 stroke , 4 stroke 70lbs more .

Larger boat ( 17.5 hopefully in April) will for sure have a 4 stroke .

I have a little issue , not enough of us have thanked the hard working admins for the GREAT job they have done to improve this beloved site we love so much !

I envy all these numbers I'm seeing , I tow a 9000lb 30' Camper Trailer with my Expedition ,

my numbers are obscene , on a brighter note I do manage a 15L / 100k while towing the boat .

It's evolution, the tree knows nobody is supposed to park there !
