Latest news is that the CRK has claimed Bankruptsy or Recievership on 4 of their marinas and the CFT. Bad news any way you look at it. I wouldn't count on a series for 2008 considering the situation.

Just follow the advice of everyone posting about staying in the marked channel. There are a bunch of sunken islands and shoals outside of the channel markers so be cautious.. That time of the year is good Musky fishing if you don't mind those toothy critters.Buckhorn is full of nice musky too!! I'm also up there with the family from the 16th-23rd of June so look for my 17.5 foot Crestliner FishHawk. Make sure to get your map of the lake. See you on the water and Good Luck!!!

This is a huge blow to tournament fishing in our country!! I'm in disbelief. Like you said misfish it would be nice if a big company stepped forward to keep this series going. Some anglers dreams or anglers living their dreams are going to be set back by this.. Good thing there are other tournament series out there which are going to have close to full fields now. Still a SAD day...

I used them last year with average success for bass. Also caught a couple of musky on them too!! Once you catch a few fish on them you'll build a confidence in using them.

Just wondering what the chances are of getting funding from the government to start some kind of organization for involving kids and fishing? Probably the odds are pretty slim.For those that are dedicating their time and efforts for this cause, GREAT JOB!!!!! Kudos to Dave for his event that gives kids a chance to experience this great sport.I was part of the Big Brothers Organization growing up and will definitally be taking part in your event in the near future.

Let a kid be a kid first and just get them out fishing!!! My children have attented some of my weigh-ins but my intention is not to encourage them to do tournaments but to just see what Daddy loves to do.. I know getting my kids on the water and away from the TV or video games is what it's all about!! Just enjoy fishing and having fun and they can decide where fishing will take them if or when the time comes.. Tournament fishing isn't for everyone but there's no need to critisize someone who loves fishing tourneys. Just enjoy whatever type of fishing you love to do!!!!

I've never fished as an AM yet!! I plan on doing one soon. I do fish the CFT 115 series which is a great level for anyone to start at once you've been hooked.. Tournament fishing is very addictive and hard to leave behind once you've done it. Good luck with your first tourney experience!!!

I agree with you there. My two are my babies too. Hope yours live a long life. Mine are getting up there in age (10 & 8).Dogs are mans/womans best friends!!!!!

Just want to apoligize to Jen on my comment. Your post caught my attention because I own two of the same breed as you do. I've been in that situation. Glad to see nothing happened to your pride and joy. Some dogs are natural swimmers. Mine are not, they sink like a rock... Sorry if I offended you or others.

I want to apoligize for my comment. I wasn't directing it towards anyone. I learned by watching one of my dogs sink in our pool that it couldn't swim. That's why I always put the jackets on my dogs.Sorry hope there is no hard feelings... some dogs can swim some cannot...

As a dog owner of two boxers who aren't the best swimmer, I always put their dog life jackets on them.I had my male fall overboard at the Nanticoke outflow. If he didn't have his life jacket on it could have been a bad situation. Some dog owners can be idiots!!!

Hey Brian, My partner and I both ordered 2 of the Z's each. We thought that choice was the best style to fit us. My last shirt was that style and I liked the fit. Good luick this year. Are you fishing any of the CFT's?
