  1. Was looking at the reviews and demos of the yamaha thr10. Looks pretty cool, failing that there seems to be lots of deals on the fender frontman.

    Hey,

Just wondering if anyone can't point to a good deal on an amp, ideally I woul dlike somethign that will sound as good hooked up clean to an EA as well as an electric. Was thinking about amid to late 90's Fender but I want to try and keep the price down... If anyone has a good one and is looking to trade on some stuff let me know as well.

For now just looking for opinions on what can be had that will offer some decent distortion as well as decent clean sound for say under or around 300 bucks. Peak output is not a concern and will likely never be taken out of the condo. Perhaps something with a headphone jack would be good as well.

  3. Or is it just the start of the zombie days ahead? First a bacon Shortage now a Twinkie shortage.... I heard that the Canadian Plants may continue to operate. Eitherway someone will buy the brands. I used to work for Sweetripe. They owned Allens and Everfresh juices. Allen's apple juice was sold off when sweetripe shut its doors. Twinkie will live on.

  4. Well Deer hunting this year with only an antlered tag proved to be very difficult. We passed on a few deer that ended up have antlers. Oh well I managed to take a few quick pics of the scenery... I didn't want to risk bringing the dslr out with me camping so the shots were all taken with my phone.

  5. Looking for an honest mechanic in Toronto, Ideally in the 401/dvp area. Need to get a safety done on a family transfer and don't want to get the run around in it. Car was safied in the spring but now its run out and need to transfer it to a family member. Anyway, if anyone is or knows one let me know. I guess I can just go to the stealership... grrr...

    Thanks

  6. Bigugli has it bang on. The only no kill is no fishing. It's a big range but the average reported here (MNR C&R guidelines) suggests 16% of fish released die. If you catch and release 25 walleye you have the same impact as a guy that keeps a limit and quits.

Whens the last time you caught and release 25 walleye in a day? ;) I hear what you are saying and when I fish for something that is sensitive to release, like walleye, I tend to catch what I want to keep and then go fish for something else. I don't think I would support a 100% no kill, but I would support some sort of rotating No Keep on certain species in certain areas.EG Kawartha Walleye... rotate the lakes so that they each rotatoe CnR every other year or something like that.
