brkygetr Posted February 19, 2010 Report Share Posted February 19, 2010 I've been watching on a bi-daily basis, literally drive by's...she's a no go...prob not gonna happen..too windy and not cold enough...may be weak shore ice in places(4 inches) but your nuts goin out on a big lake in those conditions. On the other hand I live in Red Bay and there is over a foot easy solid ice for a mile out..I would drive a truck on it...problem is no fish. I would stick to Simcoe or elsewhere safe with fish.
