Credit River Fishing

I am planing on going to the Credit River sometime soon, but I have never fished there before. I think I will be hitting the Culhan Trail footbridge, or at least in that general area. Is there any good fishing there? And if so, what are some top lure choices for trout?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to a Float/Fly Fishing Specialty Store.... like Angling Specialties near Confederation Parkway & Central Parkway West in Mississauga....Not too far out from where you are planning to go fishing.

 

There's apparently another Float/Fly Specialties Shop on Dundas St in Mississauga (right beside the entrance to Erindale Park ... I've personally never seen it (I used to live around that area for the last 20yrs of my life!) but yeah.... maybe someone else would be able to shine some light if this store does exist?

I think the store is called " With a fly" it is located just east of Erindale on the south of Dundas in a little strip mall. Hope this helps

Going to go with a hardy reel and a hardy rod but the price tag on it is a bit crazy so the reel comes first then the rod later lol

1400 and i still need to buy line god help me if the wife finds out

you will see a small strip mall and on the corner there will be and RBC bank it's in tht mall. you can't miss it right after the shell gas

just be ready Rob the price tag on the fly gear is high but you only buy it one time and it last for a life time.

Yeah eh?! I'm not into fly fishing guy (yet.. haha) just got into Float Fishing and I'm loving it!! I assume they carry Float Fishing Gear too??

Angel 2 Smuggler HRA2150 9' / 2.74 price tag 679.00 thats just the rod

 

Angel 2 11/12 H00038 price tag 349.00 add 2 spools at 129.00 each

 

That comes to 1,286 now add tax

 

So thats why i'm picking up the reel first.

Would love to pick the combo up but the price tag is a bit high right now.

 

So now you know and i still need line to go with the reel another 90 on top god help me
