  1. From the north end I fished all the way to the dead island in the center. On the left hand side. Found very little weeds. Managed oos bass and tons of perch. No pike. Interesting lake. I'll probably fish it again next week. Only reason why I launched from the north is because it was the closest to me. The guys didn't want to drive further south

  2. Ya I figured, being part of the Trent and all. I've done well on kashe so hoping its similar. If you don't mind pm'ing me general areas, it be greatly appreciated. I normally always fish the kawarthas but I figured pike would be an easier catch then walleye so I don't bore my guests

  3. Its not that I'm worried about. Worried about my rods. And having to fix and retie everyone's lines and teaching them how to cast. I'll be in a lund impact, if I see you I'll wave. Its the first time I fish this lake. I'll prob be on the west side

  4. Thanks for the info. I'll be bringing my lund w/115. I noticed some of those smaller lakes have restrictions. I think I may just trek back down to the kawarthas because I'm familiar with them. I'm up their for 3 days. Might just try my luck jigging on gull or clear the second day.

  5. Going to a friends cottage, on the long weekend. Its on clear lake, but they told me gull lake is just down the street. Not familiar with this area but from I can see its predominantly a bass/trout lake. I couldn't catch a trout if my life depended on it, would rather fish for walleye/pike. Would my best bet be to drive down to the kawarthas or are their lakes close by to where ill be staying? Not looking for any spots, just a lake reccomendation. I always fish the kawarthas and wouldn't mind trying a new place out.

    Thanks
