I had a bunch of these from a friend from a long time ago, a friend gave me to try but I didn't have them stored properly. They all dried up and the action is not apparent. I use jackal crosstail shads most of the time but figured I'd switch it up. I want to buy six packs. What combinations of colors/sizes would you recommend for bass and the odd walleye?
Thanks, daniel

No difference in the apps themselves, just viewing on a computer gives you a larger screen (I hope!)
Which is exactly why I love my new iPad3! The best of both worlds!
Nice, i think ill just download it for my tablet than. Dont ever use it really, this will put it to good use. And easier than printing maps.

I think that rebate expired a few days ago

I was considering the costco ones, but than they disappeared. I went with a group 31 anyways. Have 3, paid 140 for the first two, 150 for the next. I think they were rated 810CA, 225 min and made by Trojan. Seem to work good soo far.
If your looking for a 27 costco or walmarts seem to be the cheapest.

Nice. So it looks like the pc app is better than the mobile version to view maps.

Didn't notice they had a pc version. Will my sd card with hot spots premium be open able on the computer? If not I may look into purchasing the pc version instead

I have maps for my Hds. But I wanted to buy paper maps or navionics app for when I'm away from the boat to figure out areas that I'll fish on the next trip. I don't fish a big variety of lakes but plan to try out others which are all popular lakes and are on the app.
Does the app run well on an Android phone? Is it worth purchasing

I did this 27 years ago on my boat....I did not use marine wire though....I used 16 gauge wire to the fuse panel....off that panel I have a compass light, dome light, horn, cigar lighter, VFH radio and two Lowrance LMS 520C units running off of it...everything has been on at the same time, except maybe the cigar lighter which is used to light my cigars and power my Minno-Mizer aerator.
Make sure you make good connections and you should be fine.

Ok thanks for the input, its a friend of mine whos rewiring his older boat. He just put in new batteries and wanted to rewire because hes revamping it this year.

12 gauge sounds a bit large....what are you wiring....
16 and 18 gauge should do it depending on what you are doing....are you running a main line from the battery to a fuse panel where multiple components will run off of it....if so then I could see 16 gauge or maybe 14......but not 12.
Just a mainline from the battery to the fuse panel.

Anyone know of a store that stocks marine wire? 12 Gauge should be sufficient to wire electronics?
Thanks.

Brother is replacing his brakes on his pickup, are ceramic pads bad for towing? Boat is a 17'9 Impact with a 115, which does have brakes.
Thanks

You need a transducer for it? Or are you putting it on the bow with the trolling motor?

Bbg marine 429 after rebate. Hds 5, if you know someone in the states free shipping. I bought my Hds 8 from them.
-
I've used it twice. First spool sucked, figured it was old line. Second i liked, used 8lb on one of my spinning reels
-
My cranking battery died on me once up north, Hence why i added 3 bank. I bought a fourth battery this year strictly for the electronics
-
Try marine experts. I pay less than that on a Lund impact, 2011, 115hp. Never heard of that new boater thing.
-
You would need a three bank
-
Bbg marine were clearing hds 5 gen 1 units for 460 plus a 100 rebate with out the transducer. Free shipping with the states. Did that with my hds eight , a friend brought it up for me

Nice, pretty sure i know where you grabbed it from. A friend of mine got a few of the extreme models for a great price. That extreme would prob suit you better than the nrx models
I actually like the look of the blue nrx. At 500their ovepriced butlike i mentioned can be had for a lot cheaper.

Crucial/cumura if you want to spend less.
NRX or Dobyns Dx if you want to spend more. The NRX can be had for ~330 if you look around, the dobyns in the low 200's.
Wasnt a fan of the st croix because the rods were unbalanced.
