  1. I think he replaces his tippet when needed,no leader.
  2. Nice question Brian,I'm not apposed to buying a new leader, just the importance I guess.
  3. Now I broke my leader in half for arguments sake. My tippet as well as 1/2 of my leader. Don't ask why,or how lol. This was last fall. My set up is a 8/9 with floating line. I know the leader is tapered but when you break it should it be replaced.? I have enough of tippet material, but it's the leader I'm worried about?.Thanks guys.
  4. I'm home now and can't find it.Somebody help!
  5. My boat has a alternater. Maybe that doesn't count. If I don't get get out in three weeks,I often put the two amp charge on a day or two earlier just for insurance.
  6. Even with a miss alighnment issue,it takes about 5 mins with me pushing the boat sideways to get alighned. sometimes up to my belly button lol. Anyone watching understands, but the guides would be so so helpfull. believe me.
  7. It's a easy load trailer capable of trailering my boat. I will not kill myself pulling it up with little water. I have to back my explorer so far in just to get the fenders under water. All four wheels are in the water. If it was that easy I wouldn't ask for rear guides. When I get back that far the alighnment is the issue, not cranking. Keep in mind this is not your typical launch. Mine is a fibreglass boat, way, way heavier with a v8. Just sayin lol.The motor is the best part of 1000lbs alone.
  8. That makes three of us.lol. Works fine as said.
  9. I have some 4 or 5" wide stainless 3/8" flat bar Wayne that might do the trick. That set up looks strong and fairly simple as well. Thanks! Oh I have, the boat is far too heavy to pull when out of the water to much. She's the best part of 3000lbs. lol.
  10. That's what I'm looking for. I could fabricate something like that. Thanks, that's giving me a great idea. .
  11. I'm seeing the winter jackets now!!,your right lol.
  12. Either Baltimore fans dislike Toronto something terrible,or they have some other issues!,check out the empty seats everywhere.
  13. Most places I launch parking is a ways away, So someone is usually holding it in place than when I get my turn to back in it's push it out, than hopefully pull it centred between the fenders. This is a 50/50 chance at best. This is where I really get wet if it doesn't go well.. lolol
  14. Glad your enjoying it,were getting ready to get the boats in the water here.!!!!
  15. I've been using magnetic trailer lights for three years now. Not submersible, takes 2mins to remove when unloading, than 3mins or so to hook back up out of the water. No rusting, bulb replacement and legal I might add. Every year I always had connection and /grounding problems.Enough was enough for me. For my boat trailer I would not have it any other way. JMO.
  16. Really?,should of known. Seemed to easy.
  17. Would really appreciate it. Thanks.
  18. Have you tried nhl.com?
  19. I guess I'll figure something out Roy. I sure need to do something. Thanks Cosmos for the link, the price is good, but may try and make something myself first. B, I don't really want to drill, but could, kinda want to have a somewhat adjustible slide through the 4" tubing.Sure would make it a lot easier to install.
  20. With people! lol.,
  21. I really do need to install a pair of these for my trailer. The boat is almost 19' and you could imagine how far in the water I need to be to get it on easily. Usually past my waist to try and get it alighned properly. It is a easy load trailer with square 4" tubing I believe. I do have access to my welder ,metal, and would like to know what you guys did to make it somewhat adjustible or did you just buy them and installed yourself?. Looking for a simple but effective way to do this. Thanks.
  22. There saying, maybe time to start worrying?,I think so!
  23. I buy a three pack of 7 watt plug in night lights . Only activated at night work for a year guaranteed. A three pack for under $10.00. Power consumption, less than a cfl I believe. The solar lights I leave for outside. lol.
  24. Long as your having fun!,lol, that's all that matters. .
