    Those are some priceless posts just priceless.... :wallbash: ya bring back Orr,Mclaren and Rosebud...that will help a whole bunch...all you guys did was complain about the fourth line now you want them back...And now you guys are getting tired of Phil the thrill and his figure skating in his own end...hey he is ninth in league scoring that's not bad and they have 2 in the top 20 but alas they are both minus players.

     

    I said it last year and this one as well....when you combine mediocre defense and mediocre goal-tending with no particular defensive system ( I can`t figure out the Leafs system)...you will play more in your end than the other end and you will continually be outshot by a large margin and average/mediocre players when continually put in that situation will fold.

     

    I think I am being generous when I give the Leafs defense credit for being mediocre because they are arguably the worst 6 man unit in the league...

    juniors are on.

     

    shhhhh about NHL

     

    watch world juniors and be happy

    my all wheel drive chevy travers handled 14" or so like a champ today no problems.

     

    I dont think chains or anything would be needed with a 4x4 truck.

     

    I drove some gnarly bush roads in the oilfields and never needed chains.

     

    just drive smart and be confident.

     

    most people get stick when they second guess themselves or their vehicle and lose momentum.

    Russia looks good up two heading into the third.

     

    The game was very close until about half way through the second.

     

    It sucks for Canada Fabry is out. Hes a skilled kid for sure

    I'm pretty surprised at the replies.

     

    Me, big game of shinny on the lake New Years eve day in a brutal wind, nice dinner and campfire later (brutal wind again), then I kept my 5 year old tradition going, in bed before 10:30,

     

     

    there may or may not have been drinking involved

    hahaha awesome!

    we envited over some nieces and nefews. Had a good family dinner. watched hockey all day!

     

    cracked a beer by ten(after the kiddos went to bed). had 4 beers then to bed with the better half about 1215.

     

    was a great day! wanted to go ice fishing today but too many to tag along so were heading to the outdoor rinks for some shinny:)

    so alot of us have seen dead bodies or helped in a rescue.

     

    thats disturbing

     

    we rescued two people that anchored a bassboat in the rapids, gnarly experience how fast things happened.

     

    second was a guy that swam the rapids. OPP and local anglers all helped in the search. my neighbor found him 4 days later and like many said, ill never forget it

    incredible! must be a natural. Will we see him in a team canada jersey one day?

    wouldnt that be something! tough to tell hes only second year peewee. hes always been pretty good but his hockey sense and confidence rose soo much this year its night and day difference.

     

    My lil sister might one day play for the women, that would not surprise me. shes one heck of a hockey player and shes being heavely scouted

     

    either or would be awesome!

    Found a flat bed 3500 Dodge Ram once in Whitehorse.

    It had been stolen and burnt in the woods beside a portage between two lakes. :(

    We went on to our destination and went fishing, then reported it to the RCMP when we got back to town.

    The desk SGT started giving me grief for waiting so long to report it. I told him it was burnt and the fire was out. It wasn't going anywhere and wasn't a danger to the woods. I said there was no way I was giving up a day fishing to go back to town to report it.

    I also said with the attitude I was getting you can bet yer ass I won't bother to make a report if I come across another crime. :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

    He changed his tune after my tirade and all was good. :D
