Dont know the man nor his family.
But I wish him well and his family as well.
News like this always hurts. Sounds like an amazing man, father and partner to his wife.
For that alone Ill show my respect through this board and I will lay down some tobacco in respect.
My thoughts are with him and his family.

ok that is the adblocker issue
but can you please check to see if my IP is banned LOL!! my issue is separate (and the fact that I am writing this, goes to show how useless IP blocking is.)
Sorry Raf you are banned!???

Ive ran a message board in the past. Its hard work at times and pays little to nothing.
Please respect the board owner and moderators.
Obviously they are working hard to solve issues that do come with a message board and updates.
We view and participate on this forum to gain knowledge, have fun and interact with friends.
Please keep that in perspective.
This crew does an amazing job IMO and we should be thankful, not critiquing and insulting.
OFC has stated numerous times to post your issues so they can address them(not create ignorant claims about ads etc)

With respect, a shot at 450 yards???? Too many variables and unknowns.
They showed the shot. It might be give or take but it was FAR.
Not only that he dropped it in one shot.
The man is a good shot

Mobile skin option has disappeared, sometimes I switch back and forth from the classic to the mobile skin on my cell phone( mobile skin doesn't give all the functions the main skin does) but now it is gone... The mobile skin saves us mobile users a TON in bandwidth costs the cell companies charge....
just an FYI
G
I had a seperate thread about that gerritt. Its there you just cant see it. There is an orange icon bottom left hand of the page, click just to the right of that icon to change the skin

Its basically a preprepared amount of the medicinal content found in the plant.
Plants have many medicines in them, some you want some you may not.
So you can buy products that offer a certain amount of the medicinal parts of the plant you wish to use.
So say you want to use white willow as an anti inflammatory. You can buy a product that say has 500mg of white willow, but its standerdized to contain 15% salycitic acid. So the product has 75mg of salycitic acid(same or similar compound to aspirin)
-
-
You can also dry it for teas, or just dry it and eat it. Or you can supplement with a standerdized extractRick and Bruce, how do you prepare nettle to aid one medically. PM me if you wish as no one needs a lawsuit because they had a bad reaction.
Thanks

You gotta check out this show, the guy seems very knowledgeable and respectful.
I love the way he preps his kill, camps out and has a meal on the spot.
-
OK, now we need to start a medical thread because there are so many natural remidies out there that really do work. In fact most medicines are based on or are extracts of things in nature.

Nettle is great for alleviating arthritis symptoms. My hands and arms brush up against it all the time in the pepper patch. It stings a little at first, then tends to numb the area touched. Helps a lot when my hands cramp up.
Yeah ive only broke out once Bruce. It might be a personal thing im not sure?
It doesnt bother me anymore.
Ill look into the link between arthitis. My guess would be that as testosterone functions properly, it increased fluid to the joints. Also the more testosterone functions properly it can negate cortisone or increase it where needed. That would be my educated guess. But ill look into it more

Anyone catch this show?
I watched it last night for the first time and its pretty awesome hunting show.
Last night was red tail deer and buffalo.
I was very intrigued. I think its a new show but im not sure?

Stinging nettle is everywhere man. Its really really good for for increasing sex hormones. Actually it makes hormones more productive per say. It increase sbhg, sex binding hormone globulinI've read a wee bit about "stinging nettle" over the years. It's certainly plentiful, can you tell me more about harvest times and uses?
I usually pick in august but im no expert.
Actually im lying lol, ill grab it whenever I find it. You want the leaves, be careful cause it hurts like heck for about 24 hours if you touch the branches.
I dont cook with nettle, we use it for tea.
I can go deeper if ya want, let me know.
Its a great plant and often grows right in your yard
Older mature plant
Close up of stems
Young plant ready to pick leaves
