  1. Yep she really is good at it. Now the truth, I don't cut it right. No pattern. That's just fine with me, I quit a few years ago. But seriously the lawns and ditches are green today, not Masters green but not yellow like all year.

I had to get over the ocd of a perfect lawn when are kids took over.

I dont know what goes through their heads but the way they cut are lawn is borderline crazy???

  2. Thanks dudes!!!!

The last pic is getting printed and hung on the wall?

Brian its been sick hot here as well. Funny thing is yesterday was like a mini cold front, I eve had chills in the am. I figured no way we would get on a hot bite, but we certaily did

  3. Storm just missed us as we headed out.

Just me and my daughter(later to be joined by my not so lil friend of 16 years of age)

Bought tubes. Never, ever used them for bass. Only white tubes for lakers...

  4. If you really want a grub (or any plastic) to last, put a small drop of glue on two spots: where the grub touches the jig head, and where the hook exits the grub body. Pre-rig a few before you hit the water, so you don't get all messy with the glue when the bite is hot.

    Exactly what I do.

I have 6 or 8 that I fish heavely and always have them pre rigged

  5. Rick, a standard canner load would be nine jars the size of the one I gave you, and that would take about fifteen pounds of boneless fatless moose. If you have a gas stove or an older model, but NOT a ceramic top stove, you could up-size to a double canner. The weight of a double is too much for a glass or ceramic top stove.

    Doug

    Darn thats pretty good!

In all honesty I think 50 jars would be ideal.enough to get through winter

What part(s) of the moose are best? Id think for this application id be using some "spare parts" or am I wrong?

Just me thinking out loud, pretty sure it doesnt matter.

If you screw up moose meat your pretty much useless???

  6. Yes indeed and did I already tell you the smoked sturgeon was delicious!!!!

When you get that moose meat this fall I will talk you through the canning.

    Doug

Awesome! How much do you usually can? Id be really happy having 40 or 50 jars for the year.

Mind you I might burn through that pretty quick lol

And speaking of sturgeon I got one lb left. Perfect for a days snack with the kiddos?
