My wife has some foam tipped ones, look in the ladies' cosmetic section, they use them for eyeshadow or something
boy i didn't know where that was going!

Love the colour and the height of the rack, Bil. Great shot! I'd have that mounted as well. Might be the deer of your life. Hopefully not but that's a beauty!

Well I'm not a Trump fan but we agree on one thing ..... NAFTA wasn't good for the US or Canada despite what the CEO's tell you. I think he'll stop the rhetoric and he might actually run the country with its citizens in mind. Remember government don't run countries anymore corporations do.

Hope Price doesn't get hurt any time soon. Montoya won't appreciate being thrown under the bus. That's embarrassing for any player.

tx aplumma. I'll check the data on my motor BEFORE I order.

I've had the wireless 55Lb for 10 years. I've found it a little hard to control if somebody is in between the foot control and the motor. Other than that it's been a great unit. I fish 25-30 days a summer with it and that includes trolling.
I'd like to try the FOB unit. Getting it off the bottom of the boat might avoid the signal problems. Where do I get one of those? Cost?

I've got 50 acres in 76c that I'm hunting next week, can't wait! Going to pick up the SD cards from the camera today, hopefully there's stuff on there other then rabbits and squirrels
Hopefully there's still a camera! I gave up using one.

Guess Babcock doesn't value Don Cherry's opinion on goalies. Fairly flippant dismissal of the the "Saturday Night" information source by Babcock. I hope I'm wrong but I think Lou and Shannie might have made their first BIG mistake. I heard some Bronx cheers last night in the second period. Although Belfour got that treatment for the first few games and he worked out pretty well.

Anderson has not been stellar but tonight's loss is not on him. We're used to seeing a goalie get absolutely pelted and then loose.
It's early in the season! I think you'll see him get absolutely pelted a lot of night this year. Lou L must know something we don't to sign him to such a longer time deal.
If Gardiner continues to run around like a chicken with his head cutoff I'd say time for a trade. This guy just doesn't get it! All the talent in the world and no hockey sense. Play the clock and the score, JAKE! Basic Peewee rule of thumb!

Did I hit replay in my PVR? Am I watching the same team as last year? Where's Reimer when you need to blame it on a goalie??
-
I know it's early Ak but everyone else was on a short contract leash with the Leafs eg. Kadri one year. Why give this guy a 5 year contract? I'm not saying he's not worth it or that he's not a good goalie. It's too early to tell. It's just not in keeping with the "every game is a tryout" philosophy of the Leafs since the rebuild started.
-
Hope that was the worst game Anderson plays in nets this year! Five year contract for $25 million.

Just can't seem to get into them. I used to die waiting to watch the Leafs and hockey in general. I'm sure I'll fire up once the Jays are done.

I think the whole idea of crownland camping for 31 days needs to be reviewed. The idea was fine 30 years ago when there was lots of unused crownland and fewer people. I think 10 day limits would make a lot more sense. Not that anyone would enforce it anyway.

Is this legal? Is there a certain amount of distance you need to be ? Recently had an issue with an RV being parked about 20 feet from the launch, with a fire pit about 2 ft from the launch and 2 ft from the water. Boat in the launch, Chairs all over the place . There is some crown land around the lake, can he use that as an excuse? Any help is appreciated thanks in advance!
That's standard practice in boat launches that I visited from Kirkland Lake to Timmins. Block the crap out of the boat launch by camping all around it so nobody else can get near it. Some of the jerks had huge RVs and they looked like they had been there for weeks. Not sure the 31 day crown land camping rule applies when you've squatted on a boat launch. Nobody seemed to move them along though so I guess it's legal??? Ignorant but legal!!!

I think the Nipissing FN are on the right track and I'm encouraged by the Chief's actions. I find it discouraging that some band members won't cooperate. In the Non FN community the noncooperative get charged and tried in a court. Can we really allow FN individuals to do what ever they want? Can't the FN community ask for the charging of such individuals? What do they do if the individual decides that drinking and driving is OK on Rez?

Do you need to go to Honda Outlets to by a Honda generator?
-
Running a generator at 80% or higher will cause fluctuations that can damage todays electronics. Computers, microwaves, and other circuit intensive products need a clean steady source of power with a 60hertz sine wave. Less expensive generators put out a "dirty" sine wave that will over time damage or in some cases will not even power up some electronics. The off brand units have a much wider sine wave and it gets dirtier the closer you get to the max capacity. Motors that use brushes could care less how dirty the sine is because the brushes create more "noise" than the worst generator. By pressing a generator to run over its intended rate or close to its max is hard on the generator but can shorten the life of electronics running on it.

Oh YEAH! Found that out the hard way. One older TV, smoke detectors, answering machine etc. all cooked by low voltage and poor quality power. Now I hesitate to use the generator until the outages is extended. I cycle my loads religiously now I'll tell you.

I deal with Staebler Insurance out of Waterloo. They're brokers so they can find a carrier that doesn't ask such silly questions. I've had great service and support from them. Ask for Wendy Robertson.

Well it turns out these things are becoming increasingly common in Eastern Ontario. I'm up by Mattawa. Hard to believe a jellyfish from China made it here. Guess we really do need to start taking this boat washing thing seriously.
-
Out fishing this morning I realized I was looking at thousands of submerged blobs. After looking closely I realized they were jellyfish .....thousands of jellyfish. My camp is on a small (2Km by 1Km) spring fed lake with no inflows. I guess these invaders arrived on a boat hull from the public launch.
After a quick google I realized they're in lots of Ontario lakes. Anyone noticed a difference in their lake after these invaders appeared?

also---whenever possible avoid driving in moose country at night.
I try to avoid the late night drives for that reason but when I need to drive at that hour of the night I follow a semi-truck at a respectable distance. My theory is that the moose would need to jump in between the truck and my vehicle. So far so good!

So anglers and hunters are expected to pay a large share of the MNR costs to monitor and manage fisheries and wildlife but the users of this resource don't even come close to covering the costs of the MOE. Double standard for sure!

I've had summer sausage that one of my guide buddies had made up. And it was possibly the best summer sausage I have ever had. It just takes so much meat that I can't ever seem to shoot enough geese in a season!
And Chad, I hear ya! That's an easy way to get dinner!
That happens to me too so I make up the needed meat with some of the rougher venison cuts from the year before. It's the only way I can find to really enjoy goose meat (in a sausage). You only need 13 lbs of wild game meat because the butcher adds 12 lbs of ground pork to get to the 25 lb minimum.

Hard to beat the best goalie in the world but the Leafs gave it a good try, I guess Polak and Martin went to the same hockey schools. Brutal hit!
