  3. ? for the rigger guys

    I have been extremely busy lately to get my nose right into it. So this is what I have now, an hds7 insight and two walker tournament series pack riggers with auto stop.

     

    My ? Can I control my riggers with this unit? Is there an adapter to acheive this? If its not possible then no problem.

     

    Any suggestions or know how, would greatly be appreciated.

    Never heard of this but can we see the picture of last years winner so I can get an idea of what your looking for lol

     

     

    Last years winner was irishfield, sorry I dont have a pic of it right at this moment. Heck if you like to fish in a tootoo, a dress or even if youve goofed up and your buds caught a pic of it. Whatever that gives you or your buds a chuckle. Just keep it clean for my girls sake, they are young.

  16. 2012 OFC funniest ice fishing photo contest

    As I have posted before, I am once again hosting this contest once again. It went extremely well last year and decided to do it again this year. Yes I am hosting it but I am not the judge of it. My two wonderful daughters Samantha and Emily will judge all submitted photos once again :thumbsup_anim:

     

    The rules are :

     

    Keep it clean please for my daughters sake

    Must be this years photos

    Must be your own photos that were taken

    Just have fun and play safe

    You must sumit your photos to this thread or pm me with the photo(s)

    Start date was dec 25/2011 and ends on march 15/2012 11:59pm

     

    There will prizes awarded at my cost and donations that have been received. I am striving for more so we can have 1rst, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

    I will post a pic of the prizes in due time and who has donted as well very soon.

     

    If you wish to donate something, please pm me.

     

    Please keep in mind that this is just for fun, for the sake of winternet, lol.

     

    I do want to thank TJ and all the mods to allow me and my angels to do this once again :thumbsup_anim: It was a blast last year, lets do the same this year :)

    I personally would like to thank everyone for their support, it has been a very trying time and would never wish it on anyone at all. I am finally starting a new chapter in my life in which started out with a bang:angel: Personally it felt like new years eve with good friends and many good folks .

    Enough of that, now for the fishing end of things. I payed our nice friend jocelyn today a visit, to pick up a few items, and some extras :whistling::thumbsup_anim:

     

    After grueling over what fishfinder I want, I picked up an hds7 insight. All I can say WOW! I took another look around and thought quitely too myself "my riggers are on their way out, they are old" Sooooooooooo,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 2 new electric riggers plus a few more items:rolleyes: Why not :angel:

     

    Anyhow, tommorow morning I will get back to what is most important in my life, my two little darling angels:)

     

     

     

     

    Thanks again for everyones moral support, I appreciate it tremendously. So, fish on, rock on or what ever that turns your crank to make your day that much better :good: Ps I will make a formal post for the OFC funniest ice fishing photo contest, for all to submit their photos in a day or two.

    Thanks Chris, now for all that havent been through the experience or know what had happened. Please reread the thread that chris has posted.

    I will say this about the restaurant, its much nicer now, a very pleasant atmosphere for any any age. The food is a mixed review on my part, but the one burger they serve, omg,,,,,,yum and I dare you to finish it with fries lol. I am not angered by them closing up access to the lake, im angered by the way they conduct themselves after they have accepted a few bucks for access, and being on the lake.

     

    Anyhow as solopadler has stated, lets be done with it and do your homework.

  21. what is up with the new licences

    After going to many bait shops, ctc etc in the past month or so just to renew my stickker has been fustrating. All I was told was on dec 15th the will be available,,,,, haha ya right.Then told they are available in mid january :blink: What really burns me is that the mnr and the issuers of the card and licences know that they expire dec 31. Why leave things for last minute :dunno:

    Anyhow, I went on line this morning, purhased a 1 year sticker with no issues. Only 5 minutes of my time and the best thing is I can make as many copies of my licence as I please. :thumbsup_anim: :thumbsup_anim:

  25. iPhone Vs Galaxy S 2 ...

    I for one can only comment on the i phone, and Im very pleased with it. Im no puter guru nor did I care for cell phones at all.

     

    I have the iphone 4 3g, its exteremly convenient and easy to use. I do like the fact that i can use my laptop without any cords attached. :thumbsup_anim:

     

    My other cell is much like a blackberry and I dont really care too much for the screen size and the tiny buttons. To each their own, i like my iphone:thumbsup_anim
