After all this time without fishing, i thought to myself can i get back into fishing and the passion i had for it It was a long and slow process for myself to even bother casting a line. Sure enough, a few friends and my girls excitement rekindled what was about to burnt out inside me.

The thrill, excitement, anticipation, a sleepless night(s)more less, its back and Im back in the game again

First off I would like to say happy birthday to Spincast, Happy BDay Bud

The four muskateers(myself,spincast,gman, and frankie65) were off fishing again including our good friend Livetofish85 this weekend. I sure needed the break and head out fishing with good friends.

We started off with a few tugs on the line in which didnt produce a thing, so I decided to switch up and match the hatch. On my second cast, WHAM shes on . Chris then decided to do the same and WHAM another one hit . Mine was 8lbs 1oz, Chrises was aprox 5 and change.

After a little while we had switched spots, only for I to have two quick hits and frank had one on for a few seconds

Cest la vie, the fish didnt want to play anymore.

It was great to finally get out again and have that feeling flow through my veins. Thanks guys, I really needed it

Out of respect for a few members, I have blocked the background, sorry guys

I Won't miss it either for the world, I'm not sure if I will fish either but I will do the same as last year, with my girls

Thank you kindly for all the replies, I am on an anti inflamatory for starters and it does work to a degree. The pain is there but i am much more functional now. I will give this med a try for a bit and perhaps suggest glucosamine to my Doc. But first I need to know the results from the tests and scans I went through. I hope its not as bad as i feel, just have to suck it up and deal with it in the meantime.

Any other suggestions are more than welcome.

Soft water fishing is included with a date stamp on the photo(due to lack of ice this year)

Im in as to a team member, I wish to be a captain but I dont have the time as of yet
