Hey Guys, my dad just recently got back into the country after a while and seeing that friday is a holiday id like to take him fishing is there any open water near lake simcoe or cooks bay ? he wants to fish for jumbos or pike when i was a kid we used to fish the bay in Adeline Park for jumbo perch does anyone know if thats open or still frozen over it would be nice to go there with my dad like the old days any help is appreciated!

hey guys my girlfriend rented a cottage for my birthday on stoney lake right where it meets clear lake if that makes sense lol i just wanted to know the ice conditions we're going up next weekend and i wanted to know if i should bring my ice fishing stuff or if there will be open water? any help would be appreciated thanks!

I had originally booked a hut with Floyd Hales thinking id get one last chance at some jumbos even tho i was already skeptical about the weather holding up, i get the call that it has been cancelled so i figured i might as well put together a plan b i looked up my favourite trib in the regulations to see what areas were open i decided go down to the mouth and bottom bounce some roe bags i get there and it seems like everyone had the same idea i did, the fish were on fire! while setting up i seen 3 hook ups and a double header! i finally get my line in the water but after a few hours nothing was happening for me even tho ppl next to me were still getting them an hour before im ready to leave i hook in to this beauty! turned out to be a great day after all the sun was out the weather was mild and seeing the fish this active was exciting!

So i got a buddy coming down from Montreal today to fish for the weekend we were hoping to get on the ice but our operator is pulling the huts off the ice this weekend due to the safety i was wondering if anyone here can help me out by telling me if there is any open water in the kawarthas we can fish or if there are any tribs that are open for rainbows i really don't wanna disappoint him i don't care if we catch anything but i still wanna take him out this weekend to fish any help would be appreciated

so like i said ill do a report once i get back, and unfortunately the weekend is over and I'm back at my desk Saturdays outing with Casey's was good the service was amazing, the staff and Taj himself were very friendly and very helpful They day went well it was pretty slow for everyone i did manage to hook into some nice jumbos and 2 herring the hut was very tight tho wasnt as comfortable as my other experiences but i stuck it out till the end of the day my 2 other buddies didn't do so well one of em last their rod down the hole so we called up Taj and he lent us one free of charge! they both had alot of action with the dinks had to keep a few cuz they're air bag was blown out but they still had lots of fun, we didnt get picked up till about 630 so we ended up with a few more fish than what you see in the picture apparently our hut did the best that day so its good thing they picked us up last LOL Dan Pm me if your trying to get out this saturday!!
